After an X-ray showed no issues, her doctor referred us to physical therapy for further evaluation and care. What we got instead was an arrogant dismissal that bordered on cruelty. The so-called therapist glanced at her for maybe two minutes before saying, "There's nothing I can do for you." That was it. No assessment. No attempt to understand her symptoms. No compassion. No effort. Just a flat-out refusal to help--a child in pain. This is not just unprofessional; it is morally bankrupt. This person should be nowhere near patients, let alone children. If you're too lazy, apathetic, or incompetent to do your job, don't hide behind a license and call yourself a healthcare provider. To look a child in the face and say "I won't even try" is utterly repugnant. Healthcare is supposed to be about healing, listening, and at the very least--trying.
