The team at Shelley Cooper PT is first-class. well-trained and client-focused from the front desk through all of the rehab staff. Shelley Cooper Physical Therapy has fraudulent billing. I went for a month and has the same two therapists, the same treatment for the same amount of time. My exercise changed but that was all. I received a bill from them with charges ranging from $225.00, $296.00,$329.00, $338.00 and $371.00 for each day. I went to see James for rehab on my lower chronic back pain after having been laid up from surgery for 4 months. I was a mess! Within a few weeks I was mobile again. I have used this clinic for what has turned into 2 separate physical necessities. I have chronic back issues, and I was having hip problems, my therapist, James (who please note is THE GREATEST Physical Therapist that I have EVER come into contact with in my entire life) and to validate, I AM A PATIENT, I PERSONALLY have seen in this establishment AS A PATIENT, used this establishment, and continually recommend this place to ANYONE that I even remotely believe will need PT in their future, even after being referred to other places I demand to ALWAYS be sent over to Shelly Cooper instead. When I was seeing James for issues stemming from a pinched nerve in my spine, he let me know I just might have a torn labrel in my hip ( which is a ligament ) well, he was RIGHT. I had to go through many MRIs and tests to confirm what my Physical Therapist knew from just doing a physical test. I had to have orthopedic surgery and now Im back in the hands of the amazing therapists here and I feel at ease knowing that. I feel better and better each time I leave. We almost lost this clinic and now we are lucky enough that James wouldn't let the facility close, instead he invested and bought it, and with his family values and military background, we are very lucky to have a Physical Therapy clinic in this valley that is ran by a man with his experience and his values. Any negative remarks that i have seen here are an obvious rant from disgruntled EX employee which is sad indeed. If you can't do your job well then you should just make a clean break and pray you can find a job where you do fit and where you do a good job instead of campaigning to anyone you can to place negative reviews on a page attached to your ex employer. Who would want to hire you in the future if they find out you do this kind of stuff when you leave a job. I just think that is silly and counter productive, that is my own personal opinion and in no way is connected to the actual office, I am just so extremely happy with the service at this clinic that it bothers me to see lies online. In a world where we try to depend on this pages to give us a well rounded review of someone we are going to trust with our bodies and helping them get back to where they were before our injuries/surgeries. Its a serious business and we need the best people that know what they are doing. James is the most amazing therapist. He uses the perfect balance of the exercises that push you as far as you need to be pushed followed up by the most effective body work as in soft tissue work and massage that has me leaving my appointments feeling like a million bucks. Its like getting your butt kicked by your personal trainer and then to make up for it you are able to receive a treatment that does get into your tissues as deep as you can take/need and this for me ends up being the best thing for my body. I respond to this type of treatment, and I would never go anywhere else and I don't let them put me with anyone but James if I can help it with his schedule. This isn't to say the other staff isn't also amazing, but when you have found a good thing why mess with it, that is why I will be a Shelly Cooper patient for the rest of my life If I have any say about it. Their staff is amazing, They call me when I need to make appointments and have forgotten, they are forgiving if I need to make a change to my schedule and they take many insurance carriers. This is my number 1 referred medically related contact. When we are in pain, or healing from a surgery or an accident/trauma that has occurred in our lives, we need someone that cares about our well being and James and the crew at Shelly Cooper do just that and more. We are in good hands and lucky to have a clinic that is not only cutting edge, when you see their facility you'll know what I mean, they have so many amazing machines, and they use many tools that might surprise you, like the Nintendo Wii. Great for balance exercises and, for me, stuff like that is very intriguing. It shows that they are growing with the times, they haven't kept themselves inside of a box, they are a top of the line clinic with top of the line tools so they can serve us in the best ways possible. This week I completed 6 weeks of physical therapy after knee replacement. I also attended two sessions of pre-physical therapy. So counting all the sessions that is 20+/-. This place is delightful. Always a smile and greeting. No need for a waiting room as i was taken on time every time! Each therapist took the time to converse with me and was genuinely interested in my progress. The sessions were similar in content but had enough variety to keep me interested. I found that I could easily use these techniques at home or in the pool for additional benefit. My second knee is on the horizon and I am looking forward to seeing James and his friendly staff again. read more

My son has had leg problems since he was a baby and they began to worsen last year. We went to so many doctors and all of them said there was nothing wrong but his pain kept increasing. I am recovering from shoulder surgery and have spinal issues. Our primary home is in Northern California but we spend much of the winter monthes in La Quinta. Following my surgery, I asked a friend for a PT refererral here in SoCal. He checked with a friend of his who is a orthopedic surgeon and it was suggested that I go to Shelley Cooper PT.
