The quote was around $2500-$2800, but we were only charged about half of that because they ran out of truck before we ran out of stuff. One of the movers told me they didn't like moving televisions, couldn't I just take that 80" TV in my car because they didn't have the proper equipment with them to move them. They made one load and we spent the next 4 days lifting and moving stuff in our vehicles--something we tried to avoid by hiring movers. This service was not worth the high cost of having to move things ourselves. We had used the service twice before, but never again.

Gave all of the detailed information he needed and was expecting everything to go smoothly as it always had in the past. I got a call 2 Days later asking for my information and when I said I just gave you all this information 2 days ago he told me he just was trying to make certain that everything was scheduled properly, I told him they had moved me just 2 years ago and that I was just moving about a mile and a half away this time but I still needed a large truck because it was a big job, and he said they could handle it. Come Friday morning at 10 AM, No one was here, 10:30, Still no one. I called and spoke with a young man who asked me what the address was! I told him I'd given them all my. information twice already, but gave it to him again. He said they'd be here in 20 minutes. It was 50 minutes before the 2 men arrived with 83 yr old Grandpa driving the truck. I was expecting 3 men, but they were polite and friendly so I hoped everything would go smoothly from that point on. I was so wrong. The move that had taken 4 and 1/2 hours in 2024 took 9 hours this time. Despite the fact that the first move was from Holt to Okemos and this move was only a mile and a half away from my current home. They moved slowly and inefficiently. One of the young men was having some health issues and the other young man was lifting and moving items that needed 2 men to move safely. After finally arriving at my house after 11:00 a.m they finally left at 8:30 PM, even though they were not able to complete my move. There were many items left behind because the truck wasn't big enough to hold all my belongings. Or possibly they didn't pack it properly to make the move because I didn't have any trouble moving there 2 years ago. They removed basement door from the hinges, and they never put it back on. They moved the washer and dryer and needed to use my tools. When they got to the new house they didn't bring the tools with them so I had to drive back to the old place and get the tools they left behind. Unfortunately, they still didn't hook up my washer and dryer. The move from Holt to Okemos in 2024 cost me $1,050. I was charged $1650 this time for an incomplete job. They did offer to come back and complete the move, but I was so exhausted. I just wanted them to leave and I knew I would be charged more. There's absolutely no reason that the move 2 years ago should have been so smooth and easy and $600 cheaper than yesterday's disaster. I would not take a chance on using this moving company again.

This is the ONLY move we have had where the movers haven't damaged/scratched something. They sent a 3-person team (Andy, Yeri, and Dan) for $189 per hour. They arrived at 8:45 and left our new place at 1:45 moving 3 bedrooms, study, and basement. They wrapped all of the furniture in pads and plastic wrap before they loaded. At our new place, they placed furniture where we wanted. The new place has hardwood floors and they removed metal feet from our furniture and replaced them with felt pads that I already had. Andy even offered to do a simple repair (they didn't do the damage) on an old piece of furniture. We were amazed that they could carry two things easily and go up and down the stairs without banging into the walls. When their hands were empty they ran up and down the stairs. When they left, my husband and I looked at each other and said, "wow! They were amazing!"

We contacted this "company" weeks before to move the heavy furniture on Friday the day before the auction. The owner shows up Thursday morning and looks at the items and says he would not be honoring the agreement because the house was too "Messy". We explained that all the box's and small stuff was being moved that day to the tents and would be gone by Friday. That all we needed was him to move the heavy furniture from an empty house. He says nope not interested. Thanks for ditching us! To anyone looking for help from Professional Moving Services... You wont find any professionals here!

Every piece of our furniture was damaged so badly that we now have to replace all of it. Spoke to Jeff several times regarding the situation and he had the audacity to blame the whole situation on us, he stated that our boxes were not "packed" well enough, I assume it's because we did not use his company to pack for us!!! Also stated that our "furniture wasn't new anyway" We are appalled that this owner had the nerve to say these things to us. Jeff took absolutely no responsibility what so ever for our damages!!! I suggest that if you have a move to do that you don't use his company at all. Jeff Brown, you should be ashamed of yourself for refusing any compensation to us for our damages!!! If I could have rated him no stars that's exactly what I would have done!!!
