Insulation was removed and never replaced, saying "we're not insulators". Prices were not disclosed, saying it would increase cost to do so. Was sold special-order storm doors without my knowledge, so I couldn't get a refund! Months after final payment I discovered outlets wired to the wrong circuit breaker box and had to call them back for re-work. On the good side, they rightly stood up to building inspector to widen doorway. Overall, most work was well done, even if it was deeply frustrating with little accounting given for expenses. FYI: Don't let them talk their way out of providing references of work on comparable properties first..

Karl was very quick to respond to our concerns and made sure the project stayed on track and the work was completed to our standards. He took the time to recommend places to visit to help us pick out the finishes (flooring, tile, etc.) and worked with us to get exactly what we wanted. Out of all the estimates I received, they were the cheapest and they included an estimate for new gutters, which is also part of their business. After I spoke with them to confirm they were the company I wanted to use, the process moved quickly and they came the next week to install the roof. Lance was great to work with and easy to communicate with through the whole process. Definitely recommend getting a quote from them if you have any roofing needs.

They explained the always do a tear down and not just an overlay to make sure there are no problems underneath. I'm glad they did as there was evidence of old water damage on boards underneath. It was basically "nope, you're on your own there, pal" which was not at all the case when I used Paul Davis Restoration for a prior water incident and some other company I can't remember for one before that. Both saw the thing through to fully restored. It's SO much easier if you can just find 1 vendor for the whole thing, even if they're just subbing out parts. So I think ServPro is more of a mitigation-only company, not a restoration company. At least for my incident. But of the work they actually did do I was impressed. The foreman was very friendly and addressed my questions, etc. He took great pictures of what they did, which helped me feel comfortable they actually did all they billed me for and will answer questions that may come up later. They had to cut out wall and floor and did it really neatly so at least it doesn't look terrible and the room is semi-functional while I'm in the process of finding a contractor to finish the job. Their containment system worked well and they cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. The communication with the Project Manager was pretty lousy before and after the work. And he didn't deliver what he promised re: helping me conclusively identify the source of the water (which in this was was not necessarily clear.)

Felt completely deceived... if I didn't call back or didn't get the message they would have shown up and wanted $350 for the trip. Very poor way to run a business. Will never call them again.

When asked for more clarity, Dwight mansplained and exposed that he was overcharging for labor that he thinks is not part of his job (removing pictures from the walls). In addition, he left a 1" hole in a wall that we need to fix at our expense. Overall, we were overcharged by 7%. I would not recommend this company if you want more honesty & transparency on your invoice.
