With 3 different people, with different hair needs and ALL of us particular, it's not a given that we've all been happy going to the same salon before. It's just not. But we are here. Not just by the professionalism and skill of everyone here, but the attention to detail, friendliness, commitment to customer service, value - just about anything you'd want from any business. And when you are a walking testament to their expertise, you have to be happy, or why else return, right? Small example, a couple of weeks after a cut, I was about to head in for surgery that would drastically limit my mobility for some time, so thought a trim might help. John Paul found me an opening in their busy schedule and didn't even charge me, given it was a minor cleanup. That's commitment to customer service! We are, and will be, lifetime clients.

I've gotten my lashes done MULTIPLE times and every time I wonder why I can feel the glue, why my natural lashes are falling off, and why by the end of the 3 weeks I have no real lashes left. There was some miscommunication that was handled SO well instead of getting upset or fussy, and THAT is proper interaction. 10/10 would recommend this salon for lashes/haircuts/hair colouring. Haven't been with anyone else other than Zoe but I'm sure if she recommends you to someone, they'll be great.

I never got a confirmation or calendar invite or a call before my appointment. So I called them the same day to apologize and asked if they can book another one, and they were all good. They called me the next day to ask me for my credit card. I thought that it's for my next day appointment so that I am obliged to go (which I thought it's fine, so I gave..and before I hangup I confirmed that it's for my next day appointment). When I went for the appointment the next day, everything was going well so far and I paid. When I asked for a breakup for the charge, they charged me the amount for the previous appointment too. I was taken aback by this and on top of it, they said they told my husband over the call about it while booking the new one. I didn't react and left after paying. When I returned, my husband had no clue about it and he said that he even called them twice for another appointment. They didn't mention anything of that sort. We both were really angry what happened. They never said about the payment to me or to my husband. They didn't even mention it when I booked the second time. Neither they mention it during the first time, I may not have missed it. I feel I shouldn't have called to apologize here in the first place. Review for the style : I asked to style my hair as a bun. It turns out the salon didn't have any Bobby pins of any sort. This was ridiculous. On top of that, the hairstylist didn't even curl my hair properly. My hairs are thin and they looked thinner after the styling. I don't expect this from a hairstylist whom I paid heavily. I wont go to this place ever. This is definitely not the service for the price I paid (220cad).
