2-1-2026 I was invited to my partner's best friend's brother's memorial service here last Friday, and it was an extremely eye-opening experience. It was beautiful and touching, and I feel that they were very respectful of the family's wishes. First, we were led into the chapel through a couple set of doors, then we saw the frame and flower arrangements that were displayed. Next, was the actual service, which I believe was Catholic mass. Then, we were led on a convoy outside where they commemorated his life. It was a little bit of a wait, being escorted outside, and it was hard to hear the pastor, without amplified sound. I was told they were placing him into the rock wall, but wasn't too sure of the details. The immediate family stood next to it, and we gave our condolences. The event was soon over, and although we arrived a little early, we were there for almost 2 hours. I was so grateful to have then been invited to their celebration of life party afterwards. The grounds seem well-maintained, and it was a little spooky walking on top of graves. What stood out to me the most was seeing the huge displays and how remarkable it all was. read more

Theeomly reason why My Momther was layed to rest here was cause she wanted to be close to my Grand parents and uncle's. Besides that. Our experience was bad from start to finish. THEY gave us such a hard time especially since it was during Covid. So Not only did my family have to deal with Such a Hard loss NOT being able to see our mother off properly. She passed alone and we had to say our goodbyes through a tablet. But these people gave us such a hard time with all the arrangements we had to step aside and let our sister finalize things cause myself and brothers were about to go off on these people. I never thought to do a review for here. My husband and I have many family members resting here. I try to come at least once a month to bring flowers for my mom, grandparents and most recently my sister-in-love. It's hard coming here at times but seeing how well kept the grounds and mausoleums are, it gives me peace. Security often patrols around so I feel safe when I go by myself. The people in the main office are very kind and respectful especially through out the funeral planning process. The more I come here, the more I think about how important it is to obtain arrangements no matter how old you are. They're very good and clear about the services, prices and assisting during the process and day of. I've looked into arrangement plans and will definitely obtain one sooner than later. Planned a funeral here and was very grateful to ASM for their caring support throughout the process. My mom had done a lot of the heavy lifting prior to the funeral so a lot of the decisions had been prearranged. We had a meeting with Janet who was thorough, organized, and kind. She answered many questions for us at the meeting and afterwards via email as well. The day of the funeral, Bill was our contact person. He was very kind and funny as well. Really enjoyed working with him! He was very respectful and made sure that the immediate family really got quality time to be alone and present. The only hiccup of the day was that the accompanist for our mass ran about 15 minutes late. Other than that, everything went smoothly. And Bill helped us out so much Compared to other funeral homes, I did enjoy that ASM felt more intimate. We were also grateful to be able to rent out the lounge room for that day. And it was very well sound proofed! We have a large, loud Filipino family and it was perfect for them to eat and chat loudly in the lounge while the actual viewing room (St Michael's) was more peaceful and calm. Soooo annoyed right now! Why is this place so strict now?! My family just didn't 2 hours decorating our plot. Mind you, 90% of the decorations are the same ones we have had for YEARS! The ONLY NEW items were candy canes. My cousin just left from visiting and everything was taken. What's the point. Nothing was too much or offensive. Our family is dead. Why can't we celebrate and decorate during the holidays. The #1 thing I dislike about this cemetery vs others. My cousin is buried at Forest Lawn and they can leave up decor year round. It's the best! Family comes and leave trinkets or special items. At All Souls, when it's not the holiday, each week everything is tossed. During the holidays it's like bah humbug. This review is only for the cemetery. We had my grandpa's graveside services here and the priest gave a very nice service. I wish I could remember his name, but he was Irish. The grounds were kept very neat and clean. But I will say that my sister went into the mortuary to use the restroom and she said that the bathrooms were filthy. Visited All Souls Cemetery, Sunday afternoon. It was getting busy for a summer weekend at the cemetery. There was only a single restroom available and a visitor line was forming. Get some porta potties for summer weekends at least. There are no restrooms at the north end. Are cemetery visitors expected to drive to the single restroom and get in line? Just got back from visiting deceased relatives buried at All Souls Cemetery. For a busy summer weekend, there were plenty of visitors. There was only one single restroom available! It was 1:00 pm, Sunday afternoon and there was a guest line forming at the only restroom open to the public. This is not welcoming to cemetery guests! Come on, Cemetery management provide at least portable potties throughout the cemetery during summer weekends especially on the north side of the cemetery, where there are no restrooms. Imagine what the conversations were like waiting for the single restroom available to public on a busy weekend. read more

This place (Cynthia) treated us like we were the crumbs on her shoe. She was already inside the building talking to her co-workers about my family . She had no clue I was with them. She made a few comments that let me know they did not want our black business at their cemetery. She told her co worker let me hurry up and get this over with." She also said, "That Jabarri, my cousin, who we buried at the beautiful Rose Hills, was not a good fit for the cemetery. What does that even mean? The moral of the story is Ms Cynthia made it very clear with her words and body language that she did not want our business there. read more

My grandmother doesn't have her stone yet. So I've been trying to make it nice for her so we can know where she is. I took cute things Friday afternoon. Came to vist her Sunday again and everything was missing. Very upset & hurt. Don't know if someone stole her belongings or what.. definitely calling on Monday morning to see what is going on. My mom passed this year, in 1993 my mother purchased three plots for 6 people back in 1993 when my brother was murdered. This year we had to visit to prepare for my mother's funeral. I can't express how this staff went above and beyond our expectations. We chose polish for her nails, well my sister did and as we got closer the funeral date the ladies taking care of my mothers make up and getting her ready called us and started texting us with pictures and color pallets as we drove down the 405 to get home to Orange county. Everything was settled with red polish red lipstick and hair down. When I walked into the viewing room my eyes just grew of the amazingly beautiful look my mother had. She looked so angelic so beautiful. When I say my real sleeping beauty she was my life size sleeping beauty and I will never forget the details in everything they did. We had viewing room plus the kitchen for our guest. If you want your loved ones to be taken care of and everything in one place without going to different sites this is the place to be. We had viewing, mass & burial all in one day. We are so blessed that my mom chose them for my brothers burial and now we had them take care of our mother. My wife's mother and a couple of other family members on her side are here. The place is huge and there are traditional burial plots and mausoleum choices. They do a good job handling the services. A flower shop is located here and as can be expected it is a bit more expensive. The grounds are kept up and this is a busy place especially around Christmas and Mother's Day. read more

With a heavy heart this visit was to finalize my mother's remains. I understand the mood and went in knowing what to expect. It had been 30 years since I've had to do this for my father. They were professional, kind, thoughtful and very thorough. Janet helped me and was amazing to work with. She handled all my needs and went above and beyond make the process comfortable. I think the service was outstanding and price was well in range of what something like this would cost. All in all I would recommend this place with the difficult process you need to deal with. It is a very well kept Cemetery. They have people that are very nice and will help you with any questions you might have.

We buried my Dad then my Mom here. Both experiences were horrible. They were quick to take our money but slow when ever we requested everything. We paid for my dads head stone and they forgot to order it. We waited for months for a head stone that was supposedly ordered and paid for months before he passed. We had to find receipts because they would tell us that we never paid for it. Now we a are here to visit my mom 4 months after she passed and there is no vase in the ground to put the flowers. We went to the front to ask and they actually blamed us for them not doing the job they paid for right. Now that I am thinking about it they actually hit us up for like 50 bucks cause they miscalculated when we signed and paid for all their contracts. That was the day before the funeral. We felt like they would cancel the services on us if we did not pay. I deal with billing and customers every day. I would not hound them for a miscalculation on a repair. These people went to a grieving family demanding more money. read more

I have been to many Cemetaries. This Cemetery has stood out among of thee others for many good reason's. Thus Cemetery has been kept up impeccably. The staff is ever so friendly here and helpful. The property of this Cemetery is well maintained in every sense. There were many sanitizing stations near the bathrooms and or near the offices. Seems like each time I visit they are always improving the Cemetery innevery sense. There is America parking , running water. This is the first Cemetery that I have seen more than one security vehicle driving around throughout the Cemetery. I felt comfortable and amazed all at once. read more

I've never wanted to have to rate a mortuary, but the day finally came for my family to say goodbye to my grandmother. I want to thank Filo and Cynthia for their help with finalizing the cemetery arrangements. I also want to thank Janet for her help with the mortuary services. Janet was amazing and very responsive with me. I unfortunately had to travel prior to the services and she was able to connect with me via phone and email to provide costs and ensure that all documentation was in order, since I was taking care of the arrangements on behalf of my mother and her siblings. My grandmother was cremated and her urn was beautiful. The flower arrangement that went around the urn was perfect. The services went well, except for a delay in a flower delivery from an outside vendor. I'm not sure where the disconnect/error occurred, because the vendor states they were delivered 15 minutes prior to the services beginning and we did not receive them until the interment. Aside from that issue, my family is still happy with the way everything else turned out. read more

On behalf of our family we would like to give a huge kudos to the All Souls Mortuary team especially Fidel who was our point of contact from start to finish. We recently lost my mom and Fidel made the entire process from start to finish smooth and seamless for us. The All Souls team was present at the church and the cemetery and took control in a very passive way to make sure everybody knew where they were supposed to be. We can't speak highly enough of Fidel and the team. They were caring and compassionate during this most difficult time and took care of all the small details that would have completely slipped our mind. It is extremely tough to lose a loved one but we felt in great hands. We buried my mom at a different cemetery so I cannot speak to that portion of the business but the planning, caring, and communication regarding picking everything out, coordinating with the church and our cemetery of choice was outstanding. read more

The restrooms and the lawn upkeep of All Souls has gone down hill ! The amount of money the cemetery makes and no changes are done with the look of their restrooms is saddening . Going to a place where you are going to see a loved one and be at peace it gets ruined once you walk into a restroom under this condition . This has gone from a weekend problem to a weekday and weekend problem . The amount of money the cemetery makes and theirs is no fund going towards the upkeep and look of what's visible to the eye and what's behind the scenes such as restrooms . The lawn maintenance is not as present as before . The grass is drying out in many areas . The grass doesn't get watered daily and the consistency of getting the grass cut on every Thursday is rare . I had planned on coming here over the past weekend. Per their website and here on Yelp, they are closed on Sunday. Out of curiosity, I called them and someone answered the phone. Turns out they are open on Sunday! How ridiculous that they can't update their website! I almost didn't go place flowers on the gravesite because their web pages stated closed on Sunday. As much as we all try to avoid this subject, ultimately we will succumb to mortality one day. But if you think outside the box, we are here to celebrate one's life, one's legacy, and through faith we know our loved ones are transitioning into the everlasting. A friend of mine who's mother recently passed away held her funeral here. She is also buried at this cemetery since All Souls is a Catholic cemetery. This particular cemetery is small compared to Rosehills and the Forest Lawns. It seems a bit on the noisy side as it faces a large street with daily traffic hustles. However, it's still a beautiful location. Mostly green pastures with some patches of brown (hopefully from the current drought conditions) is visible as we walked to the graveside. The chapel wasn't too big, but was still able to accommodate the mourners. The chapel itself can easily be converted to different religious beliefs, or denominations as there is no set permanent religious symbols to inform, but rather a more abstract cross-like symbols in the stained glass and around the wood finishings. The religious symbols can easily be interchangeable in front of the pulpit of the chapel. Yes, it's a business even though it's a Catholic cemetery. I am sure they are able to accommodate other similar denominations related to Christ such as Christians, Protestants, Hannuka, etc. The difference is their design of the cross. No offense to Catholicism please... since money sees no colors nor beliefs. Getting back on tract, yes this is a beautiful place for in eternity. There is plenty of space to park as it doesn't seem as hectic here. The funeral was beautifully conducted by a Catholic Priest, as we also had a communion. After the service, we all walked to the graveside for the ceremony conclusion. The walk was very peaceful except for the outside traffic. The grounds keepers did a magnificent job lowering the casket as I thought was the most sombering part of the funeral. They work quite fast removing the tent to packing the dirt. The funeral director was very polite and professional throughout the whole service. Ultimately, I am happy only if my friend's family is happy with their outcome. I'm here to pay my respect to her mother, and to support the family emotionally. So my verdict is they are quite happy with AS. read more
