​When I lost my mother to cancer, it was one of the hardest moments of my life. Rose mortuary and cremation was there for me every step of the way. The owner personally took the time to walk me through the process of what cremation and funeral services would look like. I was so afraid of how my mother would look, the makeup done for her made her look like snow white resting. She was so at peace and it gave me tremendous closure and comfort to see her looking so beautiful after looking so sick at the hospital. Every detail of her services, we're touched with pieces of the ocean. I had mentioned to the owner how my mother loved the sea, when we walked in to her services it was a beautiful seascape, I was so blown away at the details, there were little sand bottles with her name, handprinted on them. These keepsakes are still in my living room, and I treasure them. I didn't have to do anything they helped withb all the details down to organizing our food in a buffett style. They provided an easel and huge picture of her, so when you walked in, you saw her beautiful face smiling. All I had to do was send in my photos, and they were printed and framed all throughout reception. They allowed us to put a playlist of her favorite music together and played it throughout the venue. There were tv's playing her picture video memorial. The memorial cards they printed on a nice quality photo paper, and I was able to choose several pictures to go on the back which helped me include all of my family I'm so thankful God led me to this venue. I called Rose Cremation about 12 hours after my Grandfather passed. They answered all our questions within 15 minutes and met with us the very next day. He passed on Tuesday and we had wanted a service by that weekend because we had family in town that had to go home the next week. Somehow Rose was able to book us for that Saturday, which I'm pretty sure is the fastest I've ever seen a service done for one of my family members. They also went above and beyond for the service with their hospitality, printing and framing photos and having an amazing food and beverage display in their refreshment room for us! Other mortuaries had quoted me at nearly double the price as Rose, with NONE of the amenities that Rose offered. For example, other funeral homes offered only one hour for my family to grieve, no easels we can borrow, no rental caskets available, absolutely no food or drink and no printed photos. Rose offered everything from transporting his body, embalming, death certificate and an amazing service within 4 days for a better rate than anyone else I called. Their cremation prices were also the lowest I found. In short, Rose is one of a kind and took care of everything we needed in a very short amount of time. I called Rose Cremation and was put in contact with Lindsay. She was very helpful and never pressured us into anything that we did not want. This was very refreshing having just lost my father in law and dealing with the service in his area was like dealing with a used car salesman who was preying on people at a vulnerable time. I got the complete opposite from Rose. The bonus was that the fee that Rose charged was considerably less than what they charged to cremate my father in law in central CA and with no pressure. She was also the fastest provider I found. My brother's body was released from coroners office and within a week that he had been released we had the service. My family worked with Christy and Christal to plan and set up an intimate memorial for my grandfather. The costs were reasonable compared to other locations, and we were so thankful with how beautiful the memorial for our grandfather was. The team was very thoughtful and patient with us, and I appreciated all the details that they arranged. We had put together a photo slideshow, which they played on two screens in the corners of the memorial service room. There were tables in the foyer where we were able to leave to-go containers with food for our friends and family to take home, and in addition to that, the staff even provided coffee and pastries. They picked out flowers early that morning and made a beautiful arrangement for my grandfather's casket. Many of my grandfather's friends and family were from other parts of the country or from overseas, so it was really helpful too that they had the equipment to livestream the service. It was livestreamed on YouTube, and the quality of the video was great, complete with a beautiful title screen and a small graphic of my grandfather's portrait, his name, and birth & death year in the corner of the video.
