The ice maker was not functional unless I had a butter knife and an extra hour or two to spare. The top oven would just do its own thing on a whim....most likely go from 325* to 550* in a heartbeat. The gentleman ,(Willy??) who came out explained all the charges for service and the time frame. He also told me what went wrong and why! Their installers suck. It took weeks of them coming back only to still not get it right. They damaged the countertop and they damaged the floor. The owner said "how do I know you didn't do that"...come on, if that isn't the most generic response to divert responsibility. He also said that he would send the floor damage claim to his insurance, that was months ago and still no insurance agents have contacted her.

The microwave door springs broke, and those got repaired. Additionally, the microwave was made so that to replace a burnt out light, the entire unit had to be removed from the wall, which was handled with care and professionalism. It's saved me so much money on not having to replace appliances by repairing them instead. You can't go wrong with Advantage Appliance.

I own rental properties, their refrigerators,, coin washers and dryers, stoves, and dishwashers seem to last forever. Mine are now all 20 years or older except for big box stores replacements. Their service department is willing to give advice so they can prevent you from having service calls. Seems like their emloyees' know more than just selling appliances. Not like Best Buy, Lowes, Menards. If you do, You better buy an extended warranty, because you will use it. Sometimes without success.

Call. No call back. Sent note via website. Nothing. Call again, finally able to set an appointment. Time and date he's supposed to be back, he calls and tells me to take a video of the issue - says it's not a good use of his time to drive all the way out to my house, and then to sit & watch my washer for another 40 minutes. Apparently a video will help him diagnose it, and my time is not valuable. Sad the terrible sales & service- I will never give this company another penny!

I was told if that didn't work, let them know and they would fit me in in a few days. Although their suggestion didn't work, I appreciated that they tried to help me fix it myself and avoid a service call! Three days after calling them back to say it didn't work and I needed someone to come and take a look at the refrigerator, someone came and fixed the problem. Fixed three weeks earlier than anyone else, and at a much more reasonable price than the other guys. It's been 3 months and not another drop of water on the floor. Kelbachs will be my first call next time!!

Since I had made this emergency appointment the day before and had to cancel several other appointments, I made sure to ask that the tech would FOR SURE show up. I was reassured he wouldn't be late. Well, of course by 11:17am no one had showed, or even bothered to give me a courtesy call. I had to leave (because unlike Kossel's) I have a life/work/responsibilities and can't hang around a whole day on a work week for someone to maybe show. No customer service. The repair was quick and everything works as promised. Cons: Grotesquely overpriced parts. $50 service diagnostic visit and parts marked up over 400% to what I found online. Used an old pricing book to "prove" that the prices were not marked up. Did additional research and could not find the parts anywhere near what he was quoting. Broke one of the clips on the machine while taking it apart and did not apologize or repair.
