We called 6 places all over 30 mile radius, No answers on some, Left messages No call backs except F & F. YES they had the part, an auger cable. I fixed the snowblower myself, Today, on a follow-up cleanup the belt started smoking. Drove right over to F & F and bought a pully and an auger belt. Impressed that they have stock of all these parts. While there and chatted with Frank. Nice guy. I see they are Husqvarna dealers and Stihl dealers with all sorts of landscape equipment good to know as there will be a spring and then summer coming before you know it. Outside were 40 fixed snowblowers waiting to be picked up. Not sure the issues people have had but hey its incredibly busy. Maybe dont wait until the last minute. The box stores may carry Honda and Husqvarna, even Echo too but they get them with inferior components (Lowe's Husqvarna trimmers come with Toro shafts). Do your research and you'll find that spending an extra what, $50? Will save you much more in repairs, down time, and eventual replacement of the machines.

The mechanic looked at it and didn't think this was the problem, he suggested to look at the sprocket bushings, a common failure item. Turned out it was the bushings ($6 part). Saved me the expense of the differential part ($160 part). Good to know that they are not looking to sell you expensive parts that are not the problem. Trust in repair service is rare these days.
