    Omelette

After a doc appointment in the area we were looking for a diner and stumbled upon All Seasons at about 2pm. We were seated quickly, they weren't super busy as it was a weekday after the lunch rush. The place is decorated like the typical diner. The server took our drink orders and dropped the menus. We both opted to order omelets. They came out soon after placing the order. They were nice and big full of the ingredients we requested (bacon, mushrooms, cheese) along with the side of toast and potatoes everything was really enjoyable. We left feeling satisfied. No complaints at all, we go back again.

    2 eggs with protein special

As a local, I've been to All Seasons Diner in Eatontown plenty of times. Honestly, it's hit or miss -- there's just no consistency. Some visits are great, and others leave a lot to be desired. This time around, I ordered the 2-egg with protein special -- scrambled eggs with sausage, home fries, toast, coffee, and juice. The eggs needed a couple more minutes on the grill to be fully cooked, and the coffee tasted like it had been sitting on the burner too long. My other half ordered a western omelette and unfortunately found an eggshell in it. Her omelette also seemed rushed, like it was thrown together quickly. The food came out fast, but we weren't in a rush -- and the diner wasn't busy at all since it was a Monday morning. What really bothered us on a previous visit was discovering ants crawling on the table and near the window. We had to ask to be moved. Thankfully, there were no ants this time, but the overall experience still felt off. I really hope the staff and kitchen slow things down a bit and take more care -- especially when the place isn't packed. The food and service are capable of being great, but the inconsistency makes it hard to count on.

Now I see why my mom loves All Seasons Restaurant! It's clean, lively, and super welcoming. I had a 10/10 experience, giving this place a five-star plus rating! The menu is huge and offers a great abundance of choices for both breakfast lunch and dinner. I went for the chicken Parmesan dinner special $23.00, which came with garlic bread, a huge side salad that could feed two, and a cup of soup that's like a bowl in Florida. The special included two chicken Parm pieces and a full plate of linguine in marinara sauce. The special also came with the dessert and we decided to go with the bread pudding, which was one of the best I've had in a very long time. Carlos, our waiter, was on his A-game and super professional. Plus, the pricing was reasonable - our bill didn't exceed $60, and we had plenty of leftovers! If you're looking for a great diner, this is the place to go! It's right outside of Monmouth race track. Kudos to providing an excellent service and experience.

Wanted a casual spot for a quick dinner near our hotel. This place was busy. Typical diner menu with some Greek/ Italian specials. We found service to be friendly .. maybe a bit slow. But nothing crazy. My sandwich was excellent. But the onion rings and fries were clearly frozen items and were just ok. Do not pay the up charge for the onion rings. Not worth it! Desserts looked excellent but we did not partake.

    The "large" apple juice

Service 3/5: we were just picking up so I get not wanting to interact, but when even (what I'm assuming was) the manager was being passive and not welcoming it's concerning. We paid $4.70 for large apple juices and he gave us kids orange juice. When I corrected him he still gave us kids cups saying they were larges. We've eaten here multiple times and when we ask for a large drink it is larger than a 4" kids cup. The reason I am giving more than 3/5 stars is because when we have dined here it has never been a problem. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is cute and fun and the staff is usually friendly. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt because it was later at night, but I will definitely update if I have any other experiences with them.

Jersey Diner, so much on the menu to choose from. Good size portions. We eat here frequently. The food is fresh, service is pleasant. They have tables, booths and counter service. Large selection of desserts in the display counter. The only food we have had that we didn't like was the corned beef hash, couldn't even eat it. It was definitely from a can. Told the waitress and she just looked at us and did nothing. Otherwise the rest of the items were very good.

Friendly and efficient staff. Food ... oh the food is truly for "foodies". I can always find something eclectic while my husband smiles and almost inhales his more standard choices. Both of us always full after eating our different personal choices. It would almost be criminal not to bring up their soups. So good that once this month both my husband and I had cups of lobster bisque before our breakfast entrees. Last weekend's breakfast I had a cup of lemon chicken orzo soup that was rich, creamy, lemony goodness bathing the chunks of chicken. Today at lunch I had a delightful tomato basil that made me think of my mom with every spoonful. My husband had a delicious matzo ball soup where I could smell the chicken and simmered vegetables from across the table. We are working our way through the menu with many forays into their ever changing "specials" menu. Today lunch consisted of three pork chops, mashed potatoes and corn for my hubby. I expect him to sink into his barcalounger and sleep the afternoon away before tomorrow's blizzard. I had succulent chopped beef that was smothered under mushrooms, onions and gravy. Mashed potatoes with melted cheese and scallions and corn on the side. Who knew I would want hot honey on anything much less a breakfast item? This restaurant gets that people like me want to try new flavors amidst the familiar so earlier this month I had a breakfast burrito lined with pancakes, filled with eggs, sausage and bacon then deep fried like a chimichanga. Crunchy goodness. But it was the addition of hot honey that made the item sing! A great way to try hot honey IF you have not explored it elsewhere because you can request it on the side in a small syrup container and then you get to control how much you try. Me? I ended up dumping the whole container of warmed hot honey all over my burrito and I have been craving more plates of that entree ever since!

Tally-Ho Restaurant - Veal Parmigiana with Fries

Will this restaurant within the wooded highway in Tinton Falls make you scream "Tally-ho?" Let's…read morefind out. Brand: 4/5 As of writing this review, the family-owned Tally-Ho Restaurant breached its 30th Anniversary serving the Tinton Falls community. I hope that this eatery continues to display its simple yet unique aesthetics for 30 more years. The outside has a very unassuming look, while the interior has canvases of abstract art and country decor such as horses. The tiles and the walls themselves definitely fit the country vibes that works with the establishment, though I am not sure how long it can maintain this image. Website: 5/5 The aesthetics have that classy aesthetic, with the straight, sans serif font, and the wine-red that serves as the thematic color. It immediately welcomes you to a reservation button, an email newsletter sign-in, and categories of the menu items. While the menu does not have images of the items, they do present themselves with transparency, since a few of the menu items do admit that market prices do occur. Ambiance: 4/5 I came during the weekday afternoon, meaning that the establishment did not have a live customer presence. Indeed, I was the only customer to not seat myself in the dining area outside of the bar. I will credit Tally-Ho for having options in terms of space, whether you wish to drink in the bars, you wish to sit at the tables near the television, or you wish to simply eat in the dining areas, including parts where the booths have their own walled sections. Every part of the establishment has enough space. However, my table had a sticky surface and the television did get a bit noisy. Service: 5/5 I did think it was a bit redundant to have a sign requesting any potential customers to wait before being seated, only for the owner to tell me that I could sit anywhere. Perhaps the sign is intended for happy hours or any time that involves lots of customers. The owner did accommodate me with a sharper knife for my meal, and offered me some soda, which I politely declined. Wait Time: 4/5 I did wait a while for my meal to arrive, despite the establishment having a toned down presence of customers. Food: 4/5 I ordered the Veal Parmigiana Sandwich with a side of fries, and a bottle of water. I will say that the presentation of the meal itself surprised me, almost resembling a pizza. However, it only worked against it because the veal eclipsed the bread itself. The well-melted Parmesan cheese gave its cheese stretch and the veal itself had a thick succulence as intended. The bun held its form despite the size of the veal. I simply had to cut the veal before I could eat it with the buns. The french fries had a lot of crispiness (a bit too much), though they did complement the sandwich quite well. Worth The Money?: 3/5 The website described Tally-Ho Restaurant as a "hidden gem," and I can see how it would work for it. Indeed, its unique position along a wooded highway with a rural-coastal connection definitely works with its brand. It offers Italian food, while also maintaining its country aesthetics. However, I do not know how many people who would travel between these parts would become potential customers. It seemed to me that Tally-Ho has a central base of consumers that keep it going, which I can see working but it would not have long-term benefit. The fact that I had to include a knife with my sandwich proves that the ownership understands that some meals need accommodation. I did have a pleasant time throughout my meal, since having my own booth did give me comfort, and the meal was appropriately timed. I do not think that the delayed wait time outweighs the ambiance, but only slightly. I am concerned about the future of this establishment, though nothing anytime soon. I do not have any real suggestions except for the leadership of the establishment to ask based on what I wrote earlier about "What would Tally-Ho look like for 30 more years?" I do not know if I would make Tally-Ho my first or second choice, unless I intend to bring a lot of people for a catering event. I will say that the Veal Parmigiana Sandwich and fries did match the price. Rating: 4/5 Stars I had a pretty good experience and had no regrets coming. Recommend To... Anyone who wishes to eat at an Italian restaurant with space being the most important factor in your decision. Indeed, you have plenty of options as to where you sit (depending on the time of day of course).

Ambience was quiet and I think it has to do with the crowd, most of tables was older folks(70ish+), food (big portions) was just ok, drinks also ok, a bit on the pricey side for this type of restaurant the service was extremely slow, probably the reason why we will not go back. It took 15 minutes before they bring the bread and butter and another 15 for the drinks..
