I've been using All Season's Chem-Dry for many years...okay....20 years. There, I said it. I know Chem-Dry is a franchise, and I've never used any other Chem-Dry franchise than All Season's, so I can't speak to the rest of the franchise operators. I've used them in Goleta, and in Ventura. In my many years of experience before Chem-Dry (yes, I'm realllly old), I learned that part of a successful cleaning is the equipment/products, but a bigger part is the technician who does the work. In Goleta, I had Gary who was awesome. When I moved to Ventura, I was worried about the next technician...and I was so lucky to get Rick. It's easy to remember to ask for Rick because I say, "Rick Rocks". Easy to remember. I always get Chem-Dry's 'hot steam' cleaning, and add in their hospital grade sanitizer (we have dogs...), and brightener which makes the carpets looks brand new. They have a package deal that includes a protector finish. The carpets dry pretty quickly (usually about 2-3 hours) and there is never an odor (I hate that 'chemical clean' smell from other cleaners). I know their name is 'Chem-Dry' but I've never had any chemical smell...AND, the carpet is soft afterward, not sticky or crunchy. Yes, renting a carpet-cleaner machine at the grocery store is cheaper, but the result is not the same...I highly recommend Chem-Dry. read more

The technician was right on time and did a great job with our badly soiled carpets. The carpet dried within the timeframe he quoted, and the whole house smelled fresh. My only misgiving was that he seemed to have missed a few obvious spots, but I can't say for sure whether that was due to the poor lighting in my house or if the spots were just really stubborn. I just had Chem-Dry clean my home and my offices this weekend. Both crews (Victor, for home) and (Douglas/Leo, for office) were the most amazing personnel ever. So professional, so accommodating and so willing to be sure that my carpets would come out like I expected them to. In both cases, they were correct. They go above and beyond to please and even a little extra where needed. I am so happy with this service. This is my third time using Chem-Dry and I honestly would not go back to any other. They double the cleaning process, use special safe chemicals for deep cleaning and leave the house/office smelling fresh and clean. I'm a loyal customer from now on. Our carpets had not been cleaned for 5 years. Since then there has been two kids and two dogs, so they were dirty. Rick was very courteous and quick with the estimate, clearly explained what he would provide and how long it would take. Pricing was great as well. We were able to schedule the same day and Rick showed up three days later. We had about 660 square feet of carpet plus stairs and he had it cleaned within two hours. It looks amazing! SCAM-DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY We purchased a groupon for $209 to clean up to 449 sf. When I called to book the service they told me it would be an additional $60 for stairs. This was a quote not an estimate. When they got here they informed us that our set of stair would cost $80 + an additional $250 for stains. The representative told us the groupon service we purchased would only clean 10% of our carpets. The total would have been $439 for 449 sf. When I called the office to speak to the manager and told her I am only asking for them to honor the price of stair case and will pay the other costs, she was exceptionally rude, spoke over me and said that was their policy regardless that no one told us what the policy was over the phone. We declined their service and cancelled. We could have been a regular customer with referrals, but instead the manager just wanted to be insulting. I believe the technician makes a huge difference in how thorough they are. I had some new carpet installed on the stairs that was similar to my wall-to-wall and an area patched. Along with dog spots the entire house looked awful. Rick from All Seasons Chem-Dry did an amazing job! All the carpeting matches with all the spots are gone. I used Groupon and paid for the additional spot treatment and sanitizing.
