Mike and his crew were at my house today to handle what we thought would be an easy concrete pad removal beneath our carport. It quickly became clear that this wasn't going to be as easy as we thought it was going to be. Concrete that should have been 3 inches thick turned out to be 15 inches and a jackhammer wasn't making much progress. Understandably, they had to charge us a bit more than the original quote and they had to get a skid steer out to help. Even with the additional cost it was still very reasonable. Called yesterday and by 7:30 a.m. today they have come, as promised and on time, to haul away 4 large barrels full to the brim of rock and dirt. Each barrel weighed approximately 400 lbs.
