I told them i wanted a certain brand of shocks installed and they put a generic brand on which cost $22 apiece at the local AZ and charged me $240. I dont know how they came up with $550 extra for labor on such a easy job? Be sure to inspect your vehicle before and after they work on it or you may get a big surprise!!!! I payed them alot of $$$ for a easy front and rear shock change and had to go back over their work and fix their flaws.

I was quoted $4,587 for an AC repair -- a number that immediately felt excessive. While waiting, I also overheard the manager speaking very disrespectfully about another customer who was there for tires, which was unprofessional and concerning. Curious, I looked into the manager further and discovered that he has open lawsuits related to auto repair and other issues. Based on this experience and what I've since learned, I will not be bringing my van back here, nor will I recommend this shop. Customers deserve honesty, respect, and fair pricing -- not the opposite. The funniest thing i took it down to another Mr. tire about a mile away it needed a recharged.

I was pleased with the service I received, so I decided to come back for a full spring/shock replacement in the summer of 2013. After picking up the car, I soon realized that the service tech (Conrad) failed to install the rear springs correctly. They appeared to be crooked, and were rubbing against the sides of the shocks. After bringing the car back and being assured that everything was normal, I decided to take it elsewhere. I went to every other Ziegler store in the area, and each one confirmed that something was definitely not seated properly within the shock assembly. After many phone calls and in-person visits, I was finally able to get a refund for the poor spring/shock installation, and then proceeded to have another local shop reinstall them correctly (no more crookedness!). Today (~1.5 years later), I decided to give Ziegler another chance at their new Whipple facility by taking my car in to utilize the alignment program I had already purchased, and to also have them check out (and possibly replace) some other components on the vehicle. When I walked in, the sales rep recognized me and proceeded to refuse the performance of the scheduled alignment service on my vehicle due to the "ordeals" they've had with it in the past. In summary, I was denied use of a (bought-and-paid-for) 3-year alignment service because the shop was (apparently) bitter about having to refund me for a mistake their service tech made, and then refused to rectify. Based on my experiences, I cannot recommend this new Ziegler location.

Dropped the car off told them the problems and mentioned, when braking, the car pulled a little to the left. Later they called with a diagnostic fee which seemed a little high but wanted it fixed. Someone called back the next day told me they had changed the oil and recharged the air conditioning and found leaks at both Schrader valves which they replaced (part of the diagnostic fee I imagine) and I needed $2000 worth of brake work, (front pads and rotors, rear shoes and drums, front calipers, BG brake system service). My response was, "that is a third of what the car was worth, put it back together and the car will be picked up. A total of $2875.81 of work and parts were declined by me. " Just to be on the safe side, two weeks later the same vehicle was taken to another auto repair shop to have the brakes checked, their receipt says "Inspect brakes, approximately 50% -OK". The brakes are working fine. There is probably a large gap as to what is needed for vehicle repairs and what the manufacturers suggests and how much money you have.

I have taken my cars to Fred for over 20 years. I drove my 2006 Elantra to 304,000 miles, mainly because Fred maintained it for most of its life. My 2023 Elantra has 50k on it and was recently serviced by Fred. I had a fuel induction/injector cleaning service (I think that is what it is called lol) and the car is running as good as the day it was brand new. I highly recommend Fred and his crew. They are amazing and their prices are fantastic.
