Five Stars? No Way! 110 at Least!…read more My garage door springs decided to unwind one Saturday night last month with a "BOOM", a stuck door, and a Santa Fe trapped in my garage. Fortunately, Rami of United Garage Door came to the rescue. He quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced the broken springs, made needed adjustments, and had the garage door working again in no time. Rami was extremely knowledgeable, efficient, professional, and personable. He clearly knows his trade, and it was obvious he takes pride in doing the job right. What impressed me most was how quickly and efficiently he handled everything. He showed up when he said he would, knew exactly what needed to be done, and didn't waste any time getting the job finished. I couldn't be happier with the result. If I could give Rami a hundred and ten stars, I absolutely would. And in the end, I'd have to say the whole experience was literally "uplifting" -- especially considering the garage door wasn't going anywhere until Rami showed up! Great job, Rami and United Garage door! Jim S. Orlando

WARNING: FRAUDULENT BUSINESS - AVOID AT ALL COSTS…read more We hired JP Garage Doors LLC (Apopka/Sarasota, FL) after they falsely claimed to be licensed and professional. We paid over $7,200 to upgrade our new garage door. Within three days, a glass panel fell and shattered due to poor installation. It's been over four months, and the job is still unfinished. The owner, Johnathon Minerd, has provided excuse after excuse and now demands we pay another $400 or drive to Orlando to pick up the replacement ourselves--after already being fully paid. We later found out they are not licensed in Florida, and the address and credentials provided were false. We've filed complaints with the Attorney General, BBB, and Consumer Fraud Division. This company is a scam, and no one should go through the nightmare we've endured.

He was done before 7:30pm and was able to fixe our garage's spring. Garage door is closed and hurricane ready. We will be definitely calling him back after the storm has settled and everything is in order.

It's been probably 6 or 7 years since it's been replaced, so I wasn't terribly surprised. We park both of our vehicles in the garage and it's our main entryway to the house, so our biggest concern was that we could get it fixed quickly. Fortunately, I was able to get in touch with Rick at Doors-N-More and he was able to quote me over the phone and squeeze me in on the same day. He was very friendly and professional and got to work right away. He let me know about the warranty on the spring and put a new sticker near my opener control so I'd know who to call should I need any further assistance. There was no up-selling or any gimmicks, just a straightforward and timely repair. All-in-all, I could not have asked for a better experience. The price was reasonable and the service was friendly, professional and prompt. I'd highly recommend them!

I've worked with many vendors throughout my reno and some were great and others were horrible like APlus. Will probably get a rude comment from the owner as some people just can't believe that they fail sometimes and don't have the customer service knowledge to make good.

HORRIBLE experience with technician Victor Gonzalez - high pressure rip off attempt…read more This company installed my garage door and serviced it twice. Then they sent Victor Gonzalez, who immediately tried to screw me over on a simple spring replacement. He opened at over $1,300, dropped to around $1,100 when I pushed back, and finally floated ~$700 after I kept rejecting his nonsense. Classic bait and switch pricing... start absurdly high, "negotiate" down so the still-inflated number feels like a deal. I told him no, twice. Clear. Direct. On the third attempt he kept pushing, so I made it crystal clear I wasn't playing games and he needed to get out of my house. He still harassed me after I shut it down lingering in front of my house, arguing, refusing to take the repeated "no" for an answer. On top of the shady in home sales tactics, the company records phone conversations without any notification. And their website reviews? They display as five stars while the actual ratings are one star. Straight up deception.
