WARNING: FRAUDULENT BUSINESS - AVOID AT ALL COSTS We hired JP Garage Doors LLC (Apopka/Sarasota, FL) after they falsely claimed to be licensed and professional. We paid over $7,200 to upgrade our new garage door. Within three days, a glass panel fell and shattered due to poor installation. It's been over four months, and the job is still unfinished. The owner, Johnathon Minerd, has provided excuse after excuse and now demands we pay another $400 or drive to Orlando to pick up the replacement ourselves--after already being fully paid. We later found out they are not licensed in Florida, and the address and credentials provided were false. We've filed complaints with the Attorney General, BBB, and Consumer Fraud Division. Think twice before you want to deal with JP Garage Doors Two months ago I decided to change my Drive garage door opener because my old one was little bit too loud for me but still working good , and I just want something new and quite smart unit we agree over the phone for $680 I believe he said they have Lift master very quiet and he offered to come in few hours . I was surprised why it's so fast because I had other people to come in two days to install LiftMaster for me, and I was just shopping around see maybe I can find somebody local close to me. Because other company one hour away But I canceled the other appointment with other people and agree with JP Garage Door company he installed unit very quickly. And I realize it's different brand Ganie model 3021 I was so unhappy he told me after he installed . And was so funny the lightbulb did not work. I have to give him my lightbulb because he did not have one on him to put it in. well I don't like to complain. I just accept it and paid. Then on Monday next day, I realize I cannot close my screen because the garage not open properly and I realize the bottom sensors he did not change. He left old sensors . I called him. He said sensors under warranty we don't have to change it now. But they came with the package ,if something happened with old sensors, he will come and change it but now they work just fine but he can send somebody to fix the other problem and I can finally use my screen Following day, they are just fixed the door, but did not change the sensors But unit not quiet what we agree he put some lubricant and he said wait for two weeks The reason why I want to change for new unit because I want quite smart unit I was waiting and waiting when lubricant start working Finally, three weeks after I sent him video because my door still loud when it's open specialist in the morning first open then it's not too bad but this time he start ignoring me I sent message to Other helper who came second time same thing I tried for 5 days message calling they just ignoring me I guess from this point nobody will come and fix the problem maybe i paid not big money but for unit he installed I can buy from Lowe's for $200 and then install for $179 with quarantine Like I said, think twice and maybe just hired a different company not JP Garage Doors (352) 431-5495 read more

Tried to call and get an answer and every time my calls go to voicemail. I ordered my doors in december of 2022 and now it is July of 2023 and still nothing from anybody.
