Called All Lock to come to my location to unlock my vehicle and make a key. They knew the make and model of my vehicle as I had relayed that to them. Stated they would be out in 30 to 40 minutes. They did arrive on time or as scheduled, However, They unlocked my vehicle but stated they could not make a key because it was a proximity key. Now having the information they had about my vehicle they would have known this prior to coming out. The service person charged me $75 to unlock my vehicle. HadI known they wouldn't be able to make a key I would have just called for my insurance to unlock my car. Not happy very sneaky business practices. read more

After having a new key made at Aladdin Lock in Billings for my 2002 Buick Regal my car broke down for the second time which led me to research the situation on the pc. In short the symptoms led to the anti-theft system and the possible issues with it. This is when I found out that the key had to be programmed, I then contacted All Lock in Billings and tried to explain to him what I had learned but he interrupted me and informed me that my car didn't use a programmable key. That really confused me and he was quite patient in making explanations. Later he suggested to my mechanic that I take the car to The Wiring Guy in the Heights as it was probably a broken wire or resistor. Following his advice I had my car towed there (2nd towing in less than a month). Continue to The Wiring Guy for the rest of the story. Taking it there was a fluke. The car broke down for a third time after The Wiring Guy and I began making calls to All Lock again. I wanted him to make a new key and program it, if for no other reason than to eliminate that as a possibility of why the car would not start. He became rude and arrogant and informed me that we have had this conversation before and I wasn't listening and if the security light on the dash bothered me put a piece of tape over it so I didn['t have to look at it. Top notch service and quality of craftsmanship! Ed Schiller was able to make a true copy of my Lexus' key in only 5 minutes! His shop was closed when I got there but I called him and he was there in less than 10 minutes. Use Ed Schiller if you possibly can. I had tried to have my key copied by another locksmith nearby and it was an unmitigated disaster. She butchered two blanks I had provided and had me very worried when she tried with significant force to twist the copies she had made in my car's locks, all the time complaining about the problems she had with another Lexus earlier in the month -- I thought something would surely break.. She did offer to reimburse me for the blanks she destroyed but I declined and was very, very happy to leave. read more

I took my pickup to All Lock to have the ignition and doors re-keyed (thieves broke in and stole a key and remote a few days earlier). They did great job - fast and neat - can't even tell they did anything. And yes - way less expensive than the dealership. I saved hundreds - literally! Do not use these guys. They rip you off and demand payment for switching locks after your purse has been stolen and you have no keys. The smith that came out refused to accept payment by a check and KNEW my purse had been stolen THAT DAY, with all of my money, keys, personal information, etc. Instead of being a good person, he told me he would not leave me any keys to lock my home if I couldn't pay him - with what money I don't know - it was a Sunday so the bank's kind of closed.
