Oh boy was i mad! They denied doing it! Like who else tresspassed onto my property to do this? Ughhhh. My aunt had used them before and they left all the leaves in front of her house AFTER SHE TOLD THEM THAT THEY NEEDED TO PICK THEM UP OFF THE STREET. They even replied "yup we'll do that too". They were supposed to do a fall clean up, picking up everything and did hardly anything but MOWED OVER EVERYTHING with their standing lawnmower. And blower. It wasn't worth that much $$! How can they call themselves "Landscaping Architects"?? I will NEVER use these guys again after these incidents. Even my neighbors have complained to me about them as well! They ruined my neighbors mail box. I had to pay for it too! I called Sunshine and they DENIED IT! Boy was I mad! DO NOT USE THESE GUYS IF YOU HAVE A NICE HOUSE WITH VALUABLE THINGS IN YOUR YARDS. That's all i need to say. Steer clear! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but someone needs to warn people! I have been with another company since using Sunshine (only a handful of times too many!) and i am sooo much happier with who i switched over to. At least these guys don't do a RUSH JOB! When I called I was told they have the right to blow from 2 feet of the area and make a pile. I did not see them pick up one leaf they did not make one pile. All they did was blow all the leaves into my neighbors yard and when I spoke to them about it they laughed at me and said nobody lives there anyway. I said yes in fact someone does live there. Apparently because the gentleman's yard is not cleaned up and is woody it's OK for them to just blow the leaves right into his yard rather than take the time to pick them up. Sad .

Chris is a trained arborist, so he does not merely cut things down: he knows just which branches need to go, how to prune/shape a tree for beauty and tree health, how to balance things so this or that part of your yard has gorgeous AND healthy trees as a major part of the picture. I highly caution you against doing business with this company. Our experience with "A Cut Above…read more(ACA)" was good at first and has ended in frustration and dissappointment. We hired ACA to clean up our arborvitae trees, trim some branches and cut down a small tree and remove the stump. Upon first look, everything was done to our liking. However, a month later when we opened our lawn irrigation system for the season, we learned ACA had punctured two water lines in our system. We were with our irrigation contractor when he opened our irrigation system and witnessed water gushing out of the ground. After carefully removing the soil, we saw the lines that had been pierced. Our irrigation company advised us to contact the company we used to remove the tree because this is a "common occurrence when trees are removed" and "they should pay for the repair of the lines." We reached out to Chris Bolduc, owner and ACA arborist about the lines he broke while removing the tree stump and he refused to work with us to correct the problem he created. We asked him to pay the one-hundred dollars it would cost to repair the lines. He refused and said he "did the work he was hired to do" and there was "no problem with the work done because the tree was removed." We asked him to return to our home so we could show him the damage we were referring to and he refused. Chris took no ownership of the damage he caused to our irrigation system while removing a tree. The bottom line is, if you hire A Cut Above, you will need to supervise Chris to hold him accountable in the moment for any damages he causes because he will not work with you to resolve any damages he does to your property. What is the most aggravating aspect of this situation is the principle of ACA not fixing the problem, (whether it was a mistake or reckless) that he caused. We were not asking for much, just one-hundred dollars or even supplying a contractor to make the repair.
