When I received news that his son, Tony Eusebio, opened up a tax office aim Sierra Madre, I made my appointment there in support of this new venture. The drive for my husband & I was about an hour, which was absolutely worth it. Sierra Madre is a small town outside of Pasadena & it's an absolute gem! The office is walking distance from Starbucks & is next door to the Creative Arts Group. It's in an office building on the first floor, even though you go up a few steps. The office is small, but bright & full of light. We were immediately greeted by Tony & shortly after getting settled, Bert walked in. We immediately got started with my husband's taxes & informed them that my husband started a small boutique farm, Happy Leaf Farms, creating organic container farms for those living in small spaces. And that I'd becoming a real estate agent soon. They both have us great tips! We were informed to keep all of our receipts, make a log of miles used for the business. We were asked why we filed separately & let them know it's required for my student loan repayment program. After speaking at length about all that we could do, we came to the conclusion that this was much more manageable than we thought. And next year with the return we'll be getting as a married couple, I won't need to be enrolled in the student loan repayment program.
