MIRACLE ON PHILLIPS PLACE…read more Today was nothing short of a miracle!! Found out at 12:30 pm a house that is closing on Monday had a sewer line violation. After panicking for a minute realizing it was a Friday afternoon in December...I thought who can I call to help me. Tam Enterprises popped into my mind and within 15 minutes they were at the house assessing the situation and within an 1:40 the entire repair was done and the Village of Goshen DPW was out signing off on the violation!! Now, I'm a landlord and deal with tradesman and contractors frequently. I always ask for an hourly rate for labor, because if they tell you that "we quote you a job price and we charge a diagnostic fee" you have no idea how long that job will take, and it almost always benefits the contractor greatly, and you pay them whether you hire them or not. Instead of $120 per hour, it ends up being twice that much. To make a long story short, they never returned my call to answer my questions, so I hired a company that did return my calls. It was nothing more than a big waste of time for me, which,apparently, they couldn't care less.
