    Wagyu beef

"All Fresh" market? I don't think so. Luckily I only needed a few ingredients. Their red bell peppers especially was all shriveled up. It's a small store so don't expect to find everything here. They have wagyu beef sliced up and displayed as soon as you walk in. There's only 1 cash register. Cash preferred.

Wow! I heard this place been around but they never sold hotpot quality meat until a few months ago. The guy behind the meat cutter is so cool. He knows his meat and is very honest. They have all diff type of quality meat. Of course being curious, I bought one of each. They also have beef tongue which I didn't take a photo off. Let's start with the price and quality of the meat. $11.99 is the lowest price but it is very very good. Not as fatty but very soft. The $16.99 I think it's the best deal compare to the 21.99 and 29.99. The two highest has a nice fatty and soft springy texture vs the 16.99 is also fatty but soft melt in your mouth. So it really depends on what you like. Ohh and their Lamb is soooo good. This is my new to go place for hotpot quality meat. Now why I said the guy is cool and honest. Theirs 3 well known places to get good hotpot meat. So the meat fish market on Irving gives you the good quality on top but when you reach below it, it ends up to be not what you paid for. The Hmart is good but pricy. Last the Chinatown called gold trading company was my #1 favorite place but it's all the way in Chinatown which parking is hard and crowded. Now this place...wow. The guy is really nice and explaining about each of the meat quality. The reason I said the word honest was because I said I'm buying for pho noodle soup and most people would say buy the expensive meat. He goes " oh noodle soup don't need expensive but only good quality slice meat and told me to get the cheaper meat". what he said is true. I did buy two tray of the $11.99 and I just can't help it but I also got 1 tray of the $21.99. Their market isn't big and doesn't have everything yet for hotpot but enough for the basic. They also sell fresh seafood. Overall this is my number 1 place for hotpot meat here on. So glad I live close by. I definitely recommend this place. I wanted to keep it a secret just for myself , my friends and family but I did teach my kids sharing is caring lol. So here it is folks. You won't regret. Great quality hotpot meat for a great honest price.

It appears the owners of Power Trading Company retired and sold their business to new owners. The new owners spent months deep cleaning and remodeling the store. The store is very clean and I hope it stays this way in then long term. They offer a variety of fresh meat and seafood. I noticed they offer a huge variety of Wagyu on a whiteboard, but we have to wait and see how well it sells in this neighborhood. There's also a selection of spices and sauces available and frozen food in the freezers. With the market being in the grand opening phase, I hope they are successful in the long term, as it gives us another option to support small businesses and as an alternative to Whole Foods. Overall a good addition to the neighborhood.

This is a pretty small market that has a lot of asian groceries. They have a wide selection of meats. The pre-sliced wagyu meat is very tender for hotpot and the price is the biggest plus. They carry lots of chinese vegetables, sauces, soup bases for hot pot. This is a very convenient location, right next door is a. seafood market making it easy shopping for hotpot night.

Newly renovated neighborhood market. Fresh fruits and live seafood and all types of meat. I am in love with their Wagyu beef for hotpot!

The shopping experience collectively is rather odd. The entire store is very dimly lit and it's a strange experience. At first, it feels like an upscale food court, filled with upscale large kiosk throughout the store. They have an amazing Sushi counter, and amazing meat counter. Almost anything you could possibly think of can be found, or freshly cut to order. Just as you're walking around, there's small areas where you might find fresh noodles, or some definite, unique food finds like fresh tteokbokki. Yes I needed to buy this! They have an entire beauty section that's filled with the variety of products, many of them overpriced, but also hard to find in the average marketplace. The fresh fruit area is small, but abundant. This is definitely worth a visit, if nothing more than the experience. You will find some amazing and unique items that are usually only found abroad.

I did find a place where no meat would be available in SF . Once I started thinking of this place I started to map out hella meal possibilities with me creating dishes like San Francisco's native dish Cioppino and also making some salmon dishes along with some okay shrimp dishes like fried shrimp, skewer shrimps on the barbie, and scallop ceviche. The real feast on Good Friday would be getting the Dungeness Crab paired with some garlic noodles . This place has been a Mission District seafood institution and it's called Sun Fat Seafood company ( a former employee started Basa Seafood Express on 24th street). On a Spring stroll on Mission street between 22nd and 23rd streets I went inside a fresh seafood market. Inside you will see live lobsters in a tank. You will also see Dungeness Crab during crab season and also find of variety of fresh oysters selection along with scallops. You will also see sushi rolls when available along with different types of fishes. This place was the solution I was looking for to replace meat cravings and replace with seafood during Good Friday feast. This is definitely the place if you like it crustaceans and fish cooked or raw in SF. Inside Sun Fat Seafood you find some raw fish "fillet" to make your meal for " Good Friday" as some will "pray" and enjoy the fresh catch of seafood in San Francisco city by the "Bay" It's almost Good Friday so I feel "bless "I am alive and remembering those who passed away in peace may they "rest" I walk the streets of the Mission I "reminisce" and honor them on Good Friday feast as I eat some crab that's "Dungeness"

The majority of tourist visiting in SF congregate by the water to grab something with seafood in it. Throughout the city you can find delicious crab in dishes native to San Francisco like Cioppino . You will also find seafood in many dishes around the city restaurants like ceviche ,honey walnut prawn , shrimp scampi, and Dungeness crab with garlic noodles. You cannot go to the Cherry Blossom Festival in San Francisco at the largest Japantown in America this April weekend without enjoying a sushi dish with salmon. One thing about seafood dishes is it's easy to cook. You can't really screw up cooking a salmon or some shrimps. There is one place which has all the seafood essentials when you are miles away from the water in the Richmond ( not the city of Richmond) District in San Francisco . It's on Clement street and it's called the Seafood Center. On a Spring stroll by the See's Candies on 9th Avenue you will see the Seafood Center up the block on Clement. Inside you will see lobsters and crabs for sale which will save you time shopping and traveling to Fisherman's Wharf. You will see hella fish heads on an ice in a line up. The fishes inside are caught locally and some are caught as far as New Zealand. They also have shrimps that look okay along with Manila Clams. This is a good place to grab seafood to take home and cook or have it raw all four seasons in San Francisco.
