He neglected to text me and tell me he'd be running a little late. It turned out to a big fat lie. I gave him until 3:00 pm. He kept making excuses that they wanted him to do more work and again didn't notify me. It all turned out to be total lies and he's a scammer. It was too late to stop the Venmo transaction. He is really responsive until you send him money. I realized after I was too trusting and when I read other reviews here I noticed he had done the same thing two years ago. Also, he hadn't had a review on Yelp for over two years. Don't be trusting. I requested the money back through Venmo and he obviously didn't send the money back. Our carpet was installed within two weeks (quicker than Home Depot!) and two years later we still love it!
