However, on the day of my service, I became very sick due to side effects from a TB vaccine that I had to take for work. Despite informing them early in the morning and ensuring the team was aware of my condition, they refused to refund my $200 deposit, citing their 72-hour notice policy and remaining adamant about their decision. I requested for a little support as it is not possible to predict my health issues. I was even willing to provide proof of my vaccine, but they still refused. I reassured them that I would continue using their services as I really liked my stylist. I have never been a "no-show" for any appointment, yet they offered no support apart from just $50 which they can put towards my service. I can even over heard from the background where Kim was saying to my stylist "I dont care if she was sick" then when she finished talking to me impolitely I can hear her saying to her team "Look how simple it was to deal" then cut the call. I'm truly sorry that the owner showed no empathy, compassion or trust in their clients, and no effort was made to build a positive customer relationship. They didn't even offer me a chance to reschedule and rudely cut the call. Also feel sorry for the people who work their and the clients who still support this salon. I will not be returning to deal with such impolite people who give off such negative vibes.

I looked at the messages to confirm 3 people were booked. During the appointment, kristina left several times to attend other clients, which was frustrating, especially for a bridal trial that dosent require any pauses to let thing "set" so styling my hair took longer than necessary. I did not feel like a priority during my appointment, which is extremely frustrating and concerning as this was an appointment for my bridal hair. I showed her a photo of a sleek, small bun and made it very clear that I wanted something small simplistic and pulled back as I don't like anything large.(see photo 1) The result was extremely disappointing as it was a large, messy style bun. (see photo 2-4) When I brought this up she said my hair was the issue but only after she had already done the wrong style. I was very open to cutting my hair if needed and gave many opportunities during the appointment to set my expectation that we won't be able to achieve the hairstyle that I was hoping to achieve. I did also let her know the reason I was here today was because I had my bridal shower that evening and wanted to have my hair done for that. After a second attempt for my hair, it was closer to what I wanted, but still not right. By the time I drove home (just 20 minutes), the second hairstyle was already falling apart so much so I ended up having to wash my hair and redo it for my evening event. (see photo 5-7) In addition, my mother and mother-in-law were also unhappy with their styles. After emailing my concerns and giving her a better understanding of why I no longer felt comfortable or confident proceeding with her services, and requesting a refund not of the work she did but just the deposit for the wedding hair (especially given the ample time before my wedding), she refused a refund and only offered a partial gift card that had so many restrictions including: non-transferable, only toward salon services, expiring December 2026. Overall, this salon was poorly managed, unprofessional, had poor communication and an inability to follow client inspiration. I would not recommend them for bridal or any services.

When I was at the salon Connor Lange colored my hair and it was the most vibrant and amazing violet I have ever had. The way that Connor executed my highlights was fast and the best placement I have had. (No roots in a week) The results are the best I have ever had for a hair salon color! That's called class. However, recently I booked an appointment with them and went in for said appointment; which is 40 minutes away from my home only to be publicly humiliated. I was seated in the consultation chair in the middle of the salon thinking she was going to start but instead I was told very loudly in front of staff and clients that their products don't mesh well with my type of hair and that no one wants to touch my hair. It was very embarrassing, it was cruel, I felt so discriminated. Needless to say I will not be going back to that salon but it goes to show you that regardless of how loyal and kind you are to people, sometimes people are just not the same. Stay kind everyone, You never know The impact you will have on someone.
