Well, they're certainly not something you'll have to worry about at this little slice of heaven in downtown Woodstock! Set in amongst a few of the older businesses and buildings in town, this little salon sticks out with it's tasteful decor, beautifully designed sign and incredibly welcoming and warm interior. (Literally, it's beautifully cozy inside against the winter cold!) I came to this salon in search of something fresh and new. Somewhere that is inclusive and with the right 'air' about it. And no, I don't mean that wonderfully perfumed smell of hair spray and product that lingers in every salon. I mean the people, the vibe and the feeling that it gives you! My stylist of choice was Jordyn, a young apprentice well along her way on her creative hairstyling journey! But don't let the 'apprentice' title scare you away. Not only does she have a keen eye for sussing out a customers desires. But she's open, bubbly and extremely excitable about all things hair! She might be learning, but she's definitely got talent and a team working alongside her in this salon that are helping her hone her skills. It is incredibly comforting and assuring hearing all the back and forth between her and the owner Sunni in regards to product mixing, placement and advice throughout. Even without that, I felt like I was beneath the brush of a well-seasoned stylist and the work truly shows! The salon's atmosphere is definitely a talking point too. Don't underestimate the place. A wonderful amount of chatter permeates the salon with good vibes and entertaining conversations abound. Sunni herself might be a bit outspoken, but it's the good kind that leaves you smiling and chuckling at her clearly great relationship with the stylists working alongside her. Not to mention, her daughter brings up the most curious and entertaining of conversations which was definitely a highlight of my visit! So from boring brown/blonde to vibrant dimensional reds, my experience here was nothing short of great. I was left smiling ear-to-ear and to say I'm happy with my results is an understatement. I highly recommend this salon to anyone and everyone who is looking for a new salon or something different! Keep on being amazing everyone! So I called them to let them know that I was still coming? He didn't even write me down, they forgot about the booked app. I got my conformation about date and time 3 min before 130pm on Saturday. Not good start for first time client. When got there she was great I loved the colour she did but not happy with cut. I said many time layers all threw and only have a couple at the back. I'm not happy with the cut at all . And the price I couldn't believe how much they charge. For 275.00 I should be very happy. Very disappointed need to spend more to get hair layered properly.

Had a wonderful rapport with the owner/stylist over a few years until a misunderstanding between…read morethe parties involved. Crossed wires in communication between said parties led to a delay in resolution. When the parties attempted to resolve the issue, once reminded, it took a few attempts to gain the necessary information require to resolve it. Once the information was finally given, the party resolved the concern. This issue is that the owner reacted so negatively to one of the parties, even after such a great rapport over the past years, that they ended up quite distressed. Even when the concern was resolved, the owner would not respond to the other party in any way, including the next appt date and time. The owner was aware of the clients extenuating circumstances and still treated them terribly in the end. Clients are only human, make mistakes and are forgetful, especially when they are older and have no control over their memories. The client believed they had a genuine friendship with the owner , beyond that of simply client and stylist. Thus this combination of cross communication and the faltering memory involved caused an unnecessary rift, leaving the client without a friend or stylist, even though the issue is resolved for the owner. Unprofessional and disappointing to say the least.​
