Goliath had the utmost respect for Bill and did what he asked. Every week we met, Goliath became more of a pleasure than a puppy pain-in-the-a@##! I've had dogs forever and have worked with several trainers. By far, Bill is the most knowledgeable and effective trainer I've ever known. Georgeanne was one of my first instructors, and waaaay back then, many of the instructors were still using force training like pushing dogs into downs and sits. I can get any 8 week old puppy into a sit in 2 seconds so on earth would you ever need to push an adult dog into a down? Georgeanne was before her time, using praise and allowed her students to bring treats to reward the dogs-but, she's not a cookie pusher trainer. I learned a lot from Georgeanne and was able to show my dog in obedience which in a million years I never thought I would, or could because my dog didn't like being close to other dogs. After her classes, my dog learned to ignore other dogs and pay attention to me 100% of the time. A lot of trainers are set in their ways, and if you don't do it their way, then they don't like you as a student. I've quit many classes because of that. Georgeanne is different. She's sweet, patient, and never judges you. She'll also be honest with you. My last dog was pretty wild, and wasn't ready to go off leash for heeling. Georgeanne will tell you when is the right time for your dog to go off leash heeling and recalls. Nothing worse than having a loose dog disrupting the entire class. Georgeanne is talented trainer and also a good people person.

He's very spoiled and gets separation anxiety (and me too...) so I wanted the best for him. I was considering Pets Hotel until i found out that they crate their dogs most of the day and barely play outside. Ollie doesn't like crates and loves to be around humans and other dogs. So, I did my research and came across Maisy's Mutts! We did a meet and greet 3 weeks before I had to leave for the weekend and it went great. I felt SO comfortable leaving Ollie with the family and Manni kept me updated every day with pictures which definitely helped with my separation anxiety (LOL!). I have gone to petsmart multiple times and haven't had an issue up until now…read more I took my dog in to get a slight haircut and cleaning and showed a picture of what I wanted (same thing as always) and was ensured that was what was going to be done. Upon picking up my dog, I immediately noticed she was shaved completely.... obviously FAR from what I had asked for and I mentioned that I was not happy to which I was immediately dismissed and told "she was matted so we shaved her". My dog was not matted, never has been as I wash and brush her once a week... even then, shaving her was never discussed. When I started to talk to a manager I was immediately asked "was she matted" rather than a slight concern.
