I have been training both of my GSDs with Chris for the last year. My female is insecure, she was initially scared of the box, was nervous with any noises and other moving objects. This training has helped build her confidence and ability to task in very distracting environments. My male started out not wanting anything to do with it, he would lay down and whine... now after about a year, he LOVES IT. He loves climbing on objects in order to find the source of odor. Chris doesn't just focus on training your dog, but you as a handler too. When I first started, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing... I would tangle my dogs in the leash, be standing in the way and not know how to direct or read my dog. I still have a ways to go, but I feel I have learned so much I. Just a year. I started nose work to help build the team bond, confidence, drive and environmental socialization in my dogs. I would highly recommend to anyone that wants to start a sport with their dog/s either for fun, or with goals of going to trial. If your not sure and want to see what it's all about, Contact Chris and ask if you can come one day and observe. I wouldn't mind you following me and my dogs as we search, training with more distractions is actually helpful.

She did a questionnaire about my dog and was short and snappy. She didn't try to be nice to my dog in any way and was very cold and off putting. Did not try to comfort her (as every other groomer has ever done before). When I picked my dog up she was shaking and clearly terrified! She cowered for the rest of the day. Other groomers normally give 2-3 hours for grooming. I got a call back for pickup less than an hour from drop off. And I am pretty sure that it was due to them being very aggressive with her. Again, I've never seen her this terrified. I even offered to pay extra for her to take her time. The cut was actually pretty nice but this was, by far, the most unwelcoming grooming experience I have ever had. I wouldn't be surprised if they get closed down for abusing the pets after drop off.
