Unbelievable, how after waiting for so long, that in the same day, the owner and lead technician for this particular Brilliant Glass franchise, whose name is Javier, called me back just a few hours later after waiting 10 months to hear from him. True to form, he set an appointment to come by in just a couple of days and broke that one putting it off for several days with the excuse that his wife wanted to be sure that my wife was present to buffer them from me because I "Badmouthed them on web" ... OKAY sounds like somebody doesn't understand the concept of The First Amendment oof The Constitution. Well, whatever it takes, I just wanted the shower fixed so I accommodated the time BG wanted ( the following Monday). Though the second appointment was made between BG and my separated wife to suit their convenience and not mine, Javier's wife, who insisted on the latter appointment , was not even there. When Javier came into the house he went directly to the shower which is when I had a seat on the living room couch and left I left him entirely to his own devices. Long story short (literally), 8 minutes later, Mr Javier reappeared and began to explain how he did he best and it was all he could do cuz the contractor before him and blah blah blah and as we sifted through 4 different excuse, Mr (not so) Brilliant Glass resorted to counting on his fingers and asked how long it was that we had the shower installed as the warranty... I started to ask him about all the time I've been waiting for him to return my calls or for him to actually show up here when he says he is going to or to even do some actual work when he does get by here but all he wanted to do was to argue the matter because the truth is I truly don't believe he knows how he can repair his own sloppy installation. I told him to " Get out" and Javier looked at me, eyes bulged and said "Mr Rusty, that is no way to treat a friend" I looked back at him and said you are no friend of mine now get the F@#$ OUT"

I suspect this company must have changed hands because my experience was nothing like the other…read morereviews. Not even close - so be careful what you read into them. They reference a "John" in their reviews. There is no John. From the beginning, the owner, "Ethan", was hard to reach. After booking an estimate, he rescheduled, then arrived late. I should have known better, but I stayed with him. He came out and measured and told me he would send me an estimate. I had to remind him several times for the estimate. When I finally got the estimate, I accepted it. But then he went dark for weeks without responding. I called him, emailed him, and texted him. It took many days and sometimes weeks for him to reply to any of my attempts to contact him. Just as I was going to choose someone else (wish I would have), he responded. Seemed like a nice guy so I agreed to let him do the job which was to install glass shower walls and sliding shower doors in 2 bathrooms and install new hardware in a third. Over $5,000 worth of work. As I should have expected, the installation was delayed over and over. Once his crew arrived for the installation, they didn't have all the parts. After installation was complete, ALL THREE showers leaked profusely, from the caulked areas and from the seals on the bottom. I'm talking about water reaching 3 to 4 feet into the bathroom floor. This is after I let the installation sit a day longer than he recommended just to make sure everything dried. I called him for repair and told him not to send his installers as they failed on all 3 showers - clearly, they didn't know what they were doing. I demanded he come out himself. Once again, his arrival was delayed time and again. It took him many days to respond to each of my contacts. He finally came out to do the repair, but I could tell he was struggling. One of the pieces he installed he broke during installation and said he would come out again to replace it but in the meantime it should still stop the leaking water. After the repair, guess what... ALL THREE showers still leaked. I contacted him again. As usual his responses were horribly delayed. When he finally contacted me back, he "guaranteed" me he would come out "ASAP" and take care of this. Two weeks went by with no follow up from him. Finally I let Amazon fix this for me. Did some research, bought some parts, and had to reinstall the sliding glass doors. But I fixed all 3 showers. No more leaks. I texted him that I had taken care of the problem by myself. You would think he'd be ashamed, instead guess what... no response... DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY whether you are a homeowner or a Contactor.
