Due to a problem I created all by myself 2+ months ago, my electricity went out over 50% of my home. During that period, more than 6 well-intentioned electricians, including from Angie's list and TEP, stopped by to render their sage opinions, estimates and and sympathy, each of their guesses being vastly different from the others. Two of them went to work right away, and the power went out again within moments of their departure. Then I found "Yelp! Services" and All City Electric, and my worries were over. Gary did an outstanding job, working quickly and efficiently, doing it right the first time, and being professional and courteous throughout. He called before he came over, and got right to work before I could finish asking, "Would you like...coff...?" He listened intently to my "story," answered my questions, and explained everything step by step. He finished up, cleaned up and charged his going rate which, upon reflection, is more than reasonable. We were trying to take care of some of our own electrical needs and for the life of us couldn't figure out where we went wrong (I know, I know - we learned our lesson). The job isn't done yet, but, short of Gary B. going suddenly barking mad I can't imagine ithings are going to change much from how they've been. It's a rare and wonderful thing to find an electrician that listens well, talks just like he thinks no one in the room is an idiot, and, gives good service at a great value. I am typing this by the light - the lovely LED, shining (way more than I am used to) light in my kitchen - that had been kind of sprung on him after the initial talk/estimate. Many people would have said "nay nay" and tried to get paid more money for a separate call. Not this guy. I mean, he did work more and he's going to get paid more.
