I was a bit skeptical of this company with the reviews listed here, but here's our story. The ice maker in our Samsung refrigerator went out (as is the case with the rest of the world, it seems) and this company was selected by Samsung to compete the repair. The unit was still under the factory warranty given its age of only 10 months. Here's the outstanding service: Our repair window was 7/2/18 between 1 and 4. Jeremiah arrived at 1 sharp to begin the job. Not only was he fast and efficient, but he explained in full detail why the malfunction occurred as well as what and why he was doing what he was doing with each step of the fix. Within hours we had an ice maker making ice again! Not only would I recommend this company, but I'd ask specifically for Jeremiah if I ever needed further/follow-up service. read more

Our year-old dryer randomly stopped working and this place was the only authorized Samsung repair business we could find. Since our work was covered by the warranty, we didn't really have any other options since Samsung requires authorized repairwork. All City Appliance made the process pretty painless, aside from arriving 3 hours before the window they gave us for the diagnostic check. Our window was from 2-5 and they arrived at 11...what if we hadn't been home? The repairguy was very nice and super knowledgeable. When it came time for him to do the repair, he had to take the whole thing apart, which he did like a pro. It was apparent that he'd done this a few times. It's been a couple of months and it's been working great. They worked with Samsung to receive their reimbursement for the warranty work and we didn't have to pay a penny. I finally got a return call 3 days after the Encounter of the rude service tech, come to find out he is the owner of the company. I called Whirlpool company and put in a formal complaint on the owner of All City appliances and let them know how rude he was to me and I would never allow him in my house again and never will recommend his company to anyone. read more

Wow!!! If I could give less than one star, I would. Opened my claim through the Home Depot Protection plan and HDP directed All City Appliance to repair my Samsung Dryer. The service tech, Jeremiah, arrived on time. Called beforehand. As I am asking questions and answering Jeremiah's questions about my dryer he all of a sudden picks up his tool bag and storms out of the house. WHAT THE HECK? I'm like what happened? I asked him why he was leaving and he did not respond. My brother asked him why he was leaving and what happened and he did respond with, "you asked me twice about the recalls", got in his white Toyota truck and left. So I Quickly went and called All City Appliance (spoke with Tina), explained what happened and asked what now? She said she would try to find out. When I called back after a bit of time goes by all I got was a machine. So I called the Home Depot Protection. Shared the happenings and had to restart my claim all over. Complete and utter waste of time. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. And to boot....my dryer still isn't fixed. Grrrr! Terrible Customer Service. Completely rude, with shady and possibly dishonest or double-dipping billing practices. Did not complete the repair. Tried to charge us for a Warranty-service, after they were already paid by the company. Arrived outside of the scheduled 4-hour window and without calling first. Avoided returning phone calls and messages for more than a month, when we requested a return-visit and stated that the repair was not satisfactory. When we finally were able to get ahold of them after weeks of leaving messages that they never returned, they argued belligerently and made zero concessions for us. Told us several times in different contexts that we were "wrong," and threatened that they would have to charge us personally if they came out and determined that the issue was not their faulty repair. We finally had to call our appliance company and request a different certified technician because we don't trust that they're not trying to rip us off. Also, recommended that their "Certified Technician" contract be brought under review. read more

Worst customer service ever! Our fridge has been out for about a month, two weeks ago Whirlpool sent in a repair request and informed us that our appointment was for 06/05/17 between 8-10 am. Here it is 06/05/17 and at 11 am no one showed so my husband called and got voicemail so he left a voicemail. 2 pm comes and still no one showed up or bothered to called so my husband called Whirlpool to let them know of a no show. Whirlpool called and they too received a voicemail so they turned around and set up another appointment with Roy Appliance however the only opening they had was 06/19/17. Another 2 weeks away! I tried calling at 3 and I got busy signaled, I called 3 more times and finally got a voicemail. So I too left a voicemail asking why there was a no show. I then hung up and called again and someone answered this time and the lady informed me that they do not fix cooling issues on fridges. If that was the case then why didn't they bother calling us the day they received the service request to inform us the customer of this!!!!! Also why did they not bother returning the 1st voicemail that we left this morning? read more

The technician only wants to get cash for diagnosis and then let the thing rot until you deal with the manufacturer. My dual microwave/oven stopped microwaving, while the oven was still working fine. Technician came to diagnose, he figured out that it was the magnetron, but not without cutting the ground cable, because he couldn't figure out how to disconnect it (yes, I saw that). He said he will order part and come back to fix it. The day of appointment, he called and said the part was broken and needed to order another. Then silence radio, I called and they rescheduled the appointment, but nobody showed up or called to cancel. Since then, all my call went to their voice mail, nobody called back, it is like they vanished from the surface of earth. I got a replacement oven from Samsung, after couple months without a microwave. The technician told Samsung it was not repairable... Such a waste of everybody's time, and of a perfectly good oven, that simply needed a new part... Best Buy did the exchange and they were the best! Definitively going to buy stuff from them again.
