The general statement is these guys are friendly, fair, honest, communicative. They listen, help you find a solution to a problem, excellent suggestions for mods and add-ons for my bikes. Prices are great and they get shit done right. They do everything they say they will and are straight up nice guys. And more specifically? Once again these two guys just went out of their ways to get me back riding in about 24 hours after dropping my girl off for three issues. ( One was it wouldn't start. Kinda a big issue when you want to ride! ) I specifically heard Jack tell a customer on the phone they were looking at 10 days out due to the volume of work they had while I was dropping off my bike. So off I went . 24 hours later Jack calls and tells me my bike is done ! . Unreal. Absolutely unreal ! I am indebted to these two guys. Thank you Jack, thank you Dan. I spoke with a Chris, and asked him about doing the rebuild. He said sure but that he would be busy over the next couple days. So I asked if I waited a week and brought it down then would he be able to work on it. He confirmed that he could, and I set up a drop off time. I show up at the drop off time and walk into the shop. I wasn't sure if I was at a business or the mall, as it seemed to just be a hangout for 15 year old kids. I asked to speak to Chris and told him who I was, and he had no idea who I was or even remembered our conversation about my ATV. I was weary about leaving it with him now, but I did so based on the recommendation I was given in the first place to go there. I asked for a time frame and was told "a week or so". I gave him a $100 deposit to begin the work. A week goes by and I hear nothing. I call and leave a voicemail, and get no response. Two weeks go by, no calls. I call and leave another voicemail. Three weeks now and no call. I call repeatedly for a few days until I get an answer, and finally Chris answers the phone, and he says he just started pulling the ATV apart. I asked him why just now since I made the appointment for him to work on it 3 weeks ago. The only answer I received was that "something came up". He tells me he is going to need a few more days. Another week goes by, no call. I call them, and Chris answers the phone, and he puts the phone down, and I can hear him and another guy talking to each other in the background saying, "you tell him, I'm not going to tell him". He finally gets back on the phone and tells me they have done nothing further with the ATV. Since there is nothing I can do but be perplexed at the extreme unprofessional nature of this "business", I tell him I will be there tomorrow to pick up my ATV. No apology, just an "ok" followed by a click of the phone. To top it all off, I have to drive a half hour down to pick up my ATV, and it's now dissected and given back to me in boxes. I get my ATV, boxes of random parts, and $100 deposit, and then a week later, I get a call saying that they forgot to give me a part. So now I have to drive back down there again due to their incredible incompetence. This place takes the cake for not having any clue on what they are doing. Do yourself a favor and take your motorsports to a qualified reputable shop and skip right over these kids.

When I told him I had the dealer fix my brakes, he got POed and said he was going to pick me apart on an inspection. Scott was about to leave on a vacation. 1st one in 9 years. But he delayed his departure. Took care of my Hayabusa. Then showed me around the shop. Looked at some beautiful vintage cycles. Scott told me he can get any part I needed. Also he's been doing this all his life. So he's pretty much seen it all. Shop prices are posted. And very fair, I've seen much higher. He also appreciates well manicured machines. That's rare these days to find a mechanic who will give you back your bike as clean or Cleaner than when you dropped it off. He literally disagreed with everything my buddy & I said. My buddy left store he was so irritated. I stayed & when we negotiated price, he continued to act like that so I said 4get it & bought same exact bike somewhere else for a much better price btw & the person I got it from was a good kid. Totally different experience. Went back to JMR & bought helmet, shirt, gloves. At 1 point, sales rep gave me I believe JB's # (the guy who's desk is to the right when u 1st walk in: may be owner) # to negotiate price. When I used that number to call JB, JB said he was at home sick & acted like I was bothering him. A first, I felt bad but then I'm like well then the other guy shouldn't have given me his #. Later on, I needed a part for my bike & JB was clearly aggravated that I had bought a bike somewhere else. I could've rubbed it in their face, but I didn't even mention it. Then JB turned very confrontational and disrespectful. When he started shouting at me, I started shouting back & we got into a verbal confrontation. At first, he told me he was going to help me order the part. Then 5 minutes later, he told me that the Internet had cut out & he wasn't going to be able to order it. We got arguing again & he's like "DO U WANT MY HELP OR NOT!?" & said the Internet had just come back out of the blue while he was standing up talking to me, not even looking at his phone or computer or anything. It became obvious to me that he was lying about there not being an Internet connection to order the part. He just didn't wanna help me out of spite. When he said the Internet had come back (apparently from his telepathic abilities), he then spent 20 minutes fumbling around on his computer, trying to figure out which screw I needed it for my motorcycle. He said he wasn't sure which one it was. He said we'll try this and if it's not the right one, we'll just do it again. I called for an update a month later: He was irritated & said it was on backorder & hung up. Finally, a few months later I received a voicemail saying that the part had come in. I had missed the vmail from a few weeks prior so I called them to make sure they still had the part before I went down there and once again someone was very sarcastic over the phone saying " well if someone called you saying that the part is here then it's here". I then hung up the phone and went down there the next day (12/19/25.) when I got down there, I went in and said hello to JB and was very friendly to him as I was willing to forgive all sins if they had my part. He then told me that because of what happened yesterday on the phone, they weren't willing to do business with me anymore. I was like what are you talking about? He said that I thought I had hung up the phone after I hung up with them and that I said a bunch of negative stuff (another lie btw) & that they didn't want my business anymore & that he was ending the relationship. If I was anywhere else, I would've been in disbelief as to what was happening, but it was par for the course with these 2 people working at JMR Honda in Hyannis. I have never encountered worse Service in my entire life and I am 52 years old. I don't understand how you could be in sales or an owner and be a total jerk to your customers not just 1 employee, but 2 and expect people to want to do business there. I also met a friend who also had a motorcycle & he randomly told me that he had been to JMR Honda and received a terrible experience himself without me saying a word. I was like trust me I get it. I am a very reasonable person and I'm a good guy, but I have my limits and I honestly believe this is the first time in my life I have ever filed a formal complaint with a business. The way these guys do business is despicable to me. They are grossly incompetent, disrespectful to customers, negative, sarcastic, angry, and unreasonable. Also threatened to call cops. That would've been an incredible waste of their valuable time.

He was incredibly rude the entire time I worked with him. Super abrasive. He raised his voice in a very condescending way, at me on the phone when he called me for an address, telling me that the transport company would not take the bike from them without the delivery addressed taped to the bike - as I was getting the address for him, I thought I would simply make him aware the transport company did already have it, he told me again, in a very sharp tone, cutting me off, that they needed it taped onto the bike. After he hung up on me, I called the transport company to let them know all was set for pick up, I mentioned the rude conversation I had just had with JB and how he hung up on me while I was mid-sentence, she said, she already had the address and that he was also being very difficult with another customer who just purchased a bike or vehicle of some kind, from them, that they (the transport company) were supposed to pick up as well. Its no surprise this dealership only has 2.5 stars. I wouldn't even give one star, however I have no choice. I located a hood and called him that I found one 30 miles away. He said to stop and leave it on my way home. I called him at 3:30 and his voicemail said he was closed for the week even though I spoke with him at the shop. I called back and he reluctantly answered to say he decided to close in 5 minutes and to leave the hood outside IF he wasn't there. I arrived at the shop all open with nobody there. Doors wide open and no sign of tj fool who is mostly stoned and couldn't care less about his property, much less customers parts lying around brand new outside on the ground. My truck was "finished" two weeks prior to him releasing the vehicle. He would not release it until he received all the payments from the insurance company. My insurance company was in contact with him the entire time. He knew the checks were In the mail. I ended up with $600 in charges for the rental I had to keep bc he wouldn't release the car. Had to call the police when I went to finally pick up the car bc he demanded a $125 CASH payment, he wouldn't accept a bank check. I was told I had to pay out of pocket for things he upcharged me for. He was vulgar, using profanity towadds myself and my mother. Flash forward to November when I started using the fog lights my boyfriend noticed that the light he replaced he used a halogen light when the rest of my lights are LED. I called him to ask him about it and he said "he fixed it with used parts". The halogen light he "fixed" doesn't even fit correctly. This man is a crook & unprofessional. Not sure how he has remained In business for 30 years. I do NOT recommend him to fix ANYTHING.
