Over the past year I've serviced my recently purchased class A, forty-foot motorhome at Major's and…read morespent nearly $20,000. It has been the most expensive, disappointing, and questionable experience I've ever had with a service. For example, I recently brought my motorhome to estimate several areas that need repairs. They did absolutely nothing to repair, simply estimate; the cost was nearly $1,000 to look at the coach and acknowledge the need for repairs! I was told to repair my kitchen slide out would cost roughly $17,000! By the way, the slide was making some noise when used, however, it was working when I brought it to Major's. When they reviewed the issues with me, the side was inoperable...I'm not sure what they did to it while it was there. This is the second time I've left my coach there only to return to further problems that somehow "just happened" while it was there, I took it to another vendor who did a thorough job of preparing a comprehensive estimate which was shared with me and provided more than was included in the $17,000 estimate from Major's. The vendor provided me with a comprehensive estimate with a range of $7,500 to $9,000. By the way, they did not charge for doing the estimate!! When the people at Major's did their estimate, they looked at my water heater and determined the gas regulator needed to be replaced, the cost of looking at it (no repairs, just estimate) was $322.37!!! I ordered the parts for the water heater on line from Amazon at a cost of $104 and replaced it myself in 30 minutes; less than half the cost of them simply looking at it. My advice to anyone needing service for your motorhome is to find an honest and fair service provider. We all work too hard to have someone ripping us off. We all deserve better than this!

It was clean, friendly, efficient, and at the end the technician explained the issue and the repair. Yes, it might cost a little extra but I like to pay for quality. We were really impressed!!! I felt like David understood the customer and the need to keep moving. Thank you for getting us on the road again. I read some of the other reviews. If I lived in the area, we would enjoy the full inspection and all the suggestions to keep an RV in tip top shape.

This is going to be long, but I would like to explain the circumstances and my review in full…read more I arrived at Robertsons Monday January 12, 2026 to order a passenger seat for my Honda HRV. I was told that it should be the next day. The following day, I called before driving 45 minutes to Wareham, to make sure the seat was there, which it was. I'm not sure why nobody ever called to inform me that it was ready. Upon arrival, they had the wrong seat, it was supposed to be cloth and the one they had appeared to be leather or "pleather". I politely asked "Is this considered cloth?" The man working, had an attitude and simply replied "You can go inside and complain in there". I went inside and immediately they attempted to rectify the situation, and I was told they had reordered the correct seat and now it will arrive in 2-3 days. I called again, two days later and was greeted on the phone with confusion, placed on hold and then sent to a voicemail. I left a voicemail, and nobody ever called back. I called back again on Thursday and this time, I was told "the part was never reordered, but now should be here Monday (1/19). Monday came and went and I never heard from anyone at Roberstons once again, to tell me that my part had arrived. Tuesday morning, I called and asked to speak to a manager, he immediately said he was taking care of it and the part should now arrive in 1-2 days again. The afternoon Thursday comes, and still have not received any phone calls from Robertson's, so I once again call and find, after some confusion, that my part is there and ready to be picked up. It was ready since the day before, no notification!!!! So ultimately I am just relieved that they finally have my part, because I need it to pass inspection this month in my car. I notice that the receipt they gave me, does not match the amount of money that my card was charged. I was charged an extra $9.08. When I asked, I was informed that that was the credit card processing fee, which I do understand, but it is not posted that you will be charged extra for the processing fee. In fact, I had cash in my hand when I went to pay and the guy shoved the card reader towards me, so I just ran my card instead of using my cash. The "cashier" proceeds to tell me that there is a sign, and there is a very small sign on the left lower corner of the window that says "save if you pay cash" nowhere does it say that you will be charged if you use a credit card. I told them that, they should probably move the sign to a place where people can see it and make it more clear. A good place to put it would be on or right next to the card reader, and she proceeded to tell me that usually people "hang out for 5-10 minutes next to the sign". The manager even came over and said that they usually tell people about the transaction fee, but sometimes they "forget". This is by far the most shameless and shotty customer service I have experienced in a long time. SEEMS PRETTY SCAMMY TO ME!! And to top all of that off, not one person offered an apology or any solutions, except for the one manager I talked to that finally got my part.

I entered the store and found 2 of the 3 items I needed for my car. The 3rd item I needed was a package of various replacement fuses for my specific vehicle. So I approached a younger store associate to see if he could assist me. As I began to ask my question specific to fuses for my vehicle, the gentleman abruptly interrupted me and said to my face, "Listen to me." Period. Nothing more, nothing less. Needless to say, my jaw dropped. As I was telling the gentleman that I could not believe he just said that to me, as well as how amazingly rude that was of him, the gentleman again abruptly interrupted me and said to me, "Now you are talking over me". Obviously, I immediately put my other 2 items down and exited the store. Sadly, the gentleman was wearing a bandana, and I do not know his name. You can rest assured that my family/friends/associates will all be made well aware of this horrendous customer service I experienced today at the East Wareham, MA Advance Auto Parts store. Worst customer service experience I've experienced in probably the last 40 years.

However, the reason for the low rating is the Service advisor, and service manager NICK, thought it would be ok to talk condescendingly to me in front of a waiting area full of customers, about how I don't understand the inner workings of the transmission, that I brought in to have inspected due to a concern. What I can say confidently is that I have driven my car for long enough to know how it has always driven, and how it was acting up now. I was able to get a thorough explanation from Dan the technician about what is going on, that Nick would not provide to me, I refuse to work with Nick again. It never happened. Not how you manage a dealership, or a service department.
