Experience was great - from communication, to assurances, to value, to the transport people! We found this company via a random web search and through thorough research were comfortable trusting what they've been doing for years. Tim was always communicating with detailed emails, clear directions, and was usually much faster responding than we expected. He is on top of every detail! We were transporting an 18' boat and trailer from North Carolina to northern Wisconsin. We looked into doing it ourselves, but it would take a few days to drive down and drive back, not to mention time off work, gas, food, lodging, etc. So, we found the value of what we paid - plus a tip to the transporter - to be an excellent value. Kevin Mosher was the transporter and he made the trek in less than 24 hours! I think it was like 15 hours. Everything came in the same condition and Kevin even reported some things about the trailer we should get checked out. He even made another stop along the way to drop off another item. Going from skeptical (we're to wire money?? and then pay cash??) to having the transaction be seamless - this is a trustworthy company who partners with quality transport people. We would definitely use them again. Too bad they rely on googs for reviews, but totally understand. Hopefully you read this one! read more

I moved my 42 foot sailboat from CT to St. Pete. The driver, Skip, was very experienced and competent. The driver coordinated pickup and delivery with both boat yards while keeping me fully informed. I have moved a few boats over the last 10 years, and usually it feels like dealing with a guy, a truck, and his cell phone. When I found Greg Hutchens and All Boat Movers, it almost sounded too good to be true. He was knowledgeable, prompt, and followed up with a quote and specific details almost immediately. Also, he was able to find a transporter on very short notice using his extensive network of contacts. The price was very competitive, and he helped in the arrangements at both the originating and destination marinas. The whole process was simply perfect. I would recommend them to anyone, and have thrown out all the other boat transport business cards I had because I don't plan to use anyone else in the future except All Boat Movers. read more

Alboat movers was fast,friendly and reasonable. They moved my sailboat from Florida to Tennessee with no damage and did it very fast. They were were easy to work with and the truck driver was great! BOAT OWNERS BEWARE!!!! This is an UNINSURED Hauler Service that provided fraudulent insurance information to us. Unfortunately we contracted with Greg back in the fall of 2015 to bring our 39' TIARA down from Boston to Pompano Beach. The first hauler "assigned" us backed out at the last minute. The second hauler they assigned us was late, unprofessional, came with a pick up truck, and was UNINSURED!!!! Of course we didn't know that Greg provided us with an expired insurance binder until we had an issue with the boat upon delivery and discovered that our hauler was UNINSURED. BEWARE although you contract with All Boat Movers LLC, and they take your money way up front, they do not take responsibility for providing insured drivers, nor, when you discover that the insurance binder that GREG, the owner of All Boat Movers LLC provided, is not valid, he tells you that it is not his problem and you are basically on your own. VERY SAD and disappointing, especially because he touts the fact he is a USA Veteran. He should be ashamed to use that description of himself, as it is my understanding that honesty and integrity are qualities that he is trying to portray by using that in his advertising. We needed a quick turnaround with a boat that was stuck in another state. We called Ken and in the midst of a real hurricane in Florida coordinated the boat move for us. Ken was great to work with and I would absolutely call him again. He was willing to take our call on the weekend to ensure all was done in a timely fashion. The reason for 4 stars came down to the upcharge in cost, due to the layers of middlemen. The good news about having at least one layer is they do insure all of their transports. I think the fact they had to use 2 layers to get to the driver hiked the cost up. Would absolutely use them again. read more

Well, those critical 3 days came and went. I left voicemails but heard nothing until several days AFTER the window (when I'd already flown to the destination). By this point, I was already at the destination without my car. tl;dr: Graham Family Auto Transport turned out to be unreliable and left me stranded without my car. I regret using their service. I bought a car about a year ago and the dealer arranged transport that must have been through a broker. Nightmare. It was only chance the car made it unscathed. I bought another car a month ago, and this time I was responsible for transport. So while I was looking for the car of my dreams, I was also looking for transport. The key piece of evidence was checking out Pebble Beach Concours (in August every year) photos and see what trucks are there. If those companies are trusted with multi-million dollar cars, I should be able to rely on them for my expensive (to me) purchase. I actually saw two names on the trucks in the Pebble Beach photos. I tried one and for 3 weeks got the runaround. Each time I called, the story was always exactly, "we're waiting on a truck to become available." Eventually I read that as, "you're not one of our priority customers." So I submitted a quote request on Reliable's website. I think on a Thursday. I got the quote back almost immediately and Monday I called and spoke to Chad, who turned out to be their Operations Manager. He couldn't be nicer and treated me like I shipped $100M of cars every year with them. I told him my sad story (full disclosure) and gave them my credit card number to release the order to dispatch. I hung up and hoped something happened in the next week. 8a the next day, the dealer that had my car back in Detroit (and had been patiently holding the car inside for weeks) emailed that the car was being loaded! Delivery was the fantasy experience I had hoped for--but didn't get--with last year's car. José (the driver) was one awesome dude. So professional and a really nice guy. We met at my local Mercedes dealership. It's a huge facility right off 101N, which suited Reliable much better than coming to my house, which is not easily accessible by a huge, enclosed transport truck. I went up to José and introduced myself with, "For you, it's just another Sunday. For me, this is a fantasy." He smiled and then showed why he's an extraordinary driver for a wonderful company. The big reveal (my wife and a friend were there and had never seen the car) was a blast. It was really neat to see the specialized equipment the trucks have to transport the cars in style (air ride!), and the care José used in every step. And did I mention the truck was immaculate? I'm still not sure how that's possible. The thing came cross country, up from LA (picking up the Long Beach F1 Grand Prix pace car) to the SF Bay Area, and it looked like a councours-prepared vehicle. It's like judging people by how they dress and their shoes (in the old days). Nowadays, you judge a transport company by how they treat their equipment. P.S. I might have lucked out on the scheduling... I learned in this experience that top-notch transport can take time if you don't want your car brokered off to who-knows-who using a pickup truck and a clapped out trailer. You also have to work around the big annual car events (Pebble Beach, Amelia Island, ModaMiami...) when huge numbers of cars are going into the event and then are "stranded" until after the event to return the cars home. If you're paying for this level of service (Reliable's quote was a surprise because it was reasonable), receiving the car in perfect condition is really all that matters long term. Under this rule, I was happy to be patient for a while with the first company... note that I still haven't heard from the first company... not even a proactive status... and it's been 5 weeks.

Here is what I wrote to our neighborhood Facebook page: Hi Y'All, Just wanted to offer a great review (completely unsolicited) of a U-Haul dealership that is very close to us. It is on 54, just east of Gunn Highway (just a few miles away from us). I am surprised that I am this excited about U-Haul, but many of my previous experiences have been average at best. But this one is Fantastic! It is new, has a ton of trucks and trailers, a complete moving supplies retail store, and storage. The GM Jean was offering to help, and the associates (Brenden) were amazing! Anyways, they are new, give them a chance if you need moving and storage services.

Long story short, we were unable to rent a small trailer at the Land O Lakes location because the…read moreconnection to the trailer lights was not working on our end and the person helping us was unable to diagnose the problem. Then we went to another U-Haul location where we ended up paying $125 for a cargo van with gas and mileage to pick up a couch 30 miles away. The trailer rental would have been $18 for the day. I researched U-Haul locations and chose this location because they install hitches. We had our hitch installed last August in Virginia and it was still under warranty. A really nice young man named Justin came out to help me. He tested the connection and confirmed it was dead. He asked me to pop the hood where he proceeded to show me where the fuse was (connected to the battery) and confirmed that the problem was a blown fuse. He took the fuse and checked the shop to see if he had a spare one. He didn't. He then told me that if I drove a couple of miles up the road to the AutoZone, I could purchase a new fuse there and if I came back, he would test it. When I returned to the U-Haul location, I got everything ready so I wouldn't take up too much of Justin's time. I inserted the new fuse and open the trunk to make the connection available. Justin came out and tested it. He confirmed it was working and showed me the tester so that I could understand what I should be looking for. I asked him how did he know the fuse was blown? He showed me the old fuse and a new fuse and I understood. If only someone at the other two locations could've checked the fuse for us, it would've saved us a chunk of money, time and effort. Justin was so kind and friendly. I can't say enough nice things about him. I really appreciated his time. Highly recommend this location.

Dear Greg, We used your company's services in mid-October 2015 to transport a 25′ sailboat from Maine to South Carolina. The driver in charge of the transport was Travis. We contacted him the day before the anticipated transport start and he communicated well with us as he finished his prior transport. Travis was a bit worried about the wind and rain that was present on the morning of the loading. It was also new to Travis to load a sailboat with a swing keel and this caused him some anxiety, but he listened to the advice of the boat experts around him and he secured the boat very well. Upon arrival in South Carolina, Travis took the initiative to contact the marina and make arrangements to leave the boat on their grounds just before closing and then Travis was there first thing the next morning to help unload the boat. I really appreciate the fact that you were willing to work with me to set up a date to move my sailboat that I needed. I was concerned about my boat since its 49 years old and needed delicate handling. Your team gave it that careful handling even though the weather was horrible. I have had a different driver everytime and same good out come..
