He carefully reviewed all of our options and helped us identify the best solution for our needs. My husband and I truly enjoyed working with him. His friendly attitude, professionalism, and willingness to answer our questions made the experience very pleasant. We greatly appreciate his excellent customer service.

Pay attention to the 1 stars. They aren't lying. Run, don't walk away. Better yet, don't even knock…read moreon the door folks. I needed a new a/c unit. Ours is old and on life support. Juan came with the sales pitch (i:e: if you agree to go with us now, we'll give you a discount...but only if you decide RIGHT now). I had to sit through a binder presentation and he told me I needed a new furnace to go with my air conditioner unit because the A/C condenser and furnace have to pair up for operational purposes and they won't replace one unit only if they are both more than 8 yrs old. He showed me some scary pictures of his furnace "inspection" and said my furnace was a fire risk, had evidence of decomposition and potential CO exposure and in the "interest of safety", he recommended a full system upgrade. The pictures were legit bad and concerning, but the funny thing is, the pictures he showed me were not the inside of my furnace. I had 4 other local vendors come after him and all of them showed me photos of inside my unit. Guess what? Their pics all matched each others and none matched Juan's pictures. Weird right? The other 4 local vendors inspected my furnace and all of them noticed the refurb of all the major components I had done 5 years ago. All said that no furnace replacement was indicated and my furnace was in great shape with many high functioning years left. Weird right? I intentionally never offered that info up to any vendor before the inspection as a secret test to see who would be an honest tradesman and who would not. See a pattern here folks? Juan's quotes came in at $17,500 for an electrical system (a/c and furnace) and $18,046 for a gas system (a/c and furnace), because you know...can't just replace the AC unit in his world. All other vendors (who have higher/better reviews on Yelp btw) came in between $8-10k for a new a/c unit. Again, all said no need for a new furnace. So, i'm counting my lucky stars I wasn't duped. Going with someone else and getting my new A/C unit installed tommorow

Top Level: Initial screw-up, great recovery…read more Atlas heating installed our furnace nearly 20 years ago and it has worked well until recently. We started having problems with it, so we had a technician come out to perform preventative maintenance. However, less than a week later, it died completely and I could not revive it. I called Atlas, thinking that I would be a priority for service, assuming they would stand behind their work. Instead I was told that I could not get scheduled for service until 5 days later, and the money I had spent on the maintenance was essentially forfeit, as I would receive no credit towards the repairs. Instead, I went with a different company that diagnosed and repaired the problem two days later. After the rather disappointing interaction with Atlas, the owner called and was mortified at how I was treated. She was extremely apologetic and offered to not only refund the cost of the preventative maintenance, but tried to give me even more money for the poor handling of my case. While I did accept the refund, I did not think it fair to take more money. We parted on good terms and when it comes time to replace my furnace (in the near future), Atlas will definitely be part of the process. I would leave five stars, but have to deduct one for the initial poor handling of my case.

We bought in a mid-century house whose furnace is located on the roof . It is a common location for…read morethis type of house, but -needless to say- it is not easy to replace that furnace when the need comes. We decided to hire ATLAS for the job: the furnace was old, and the original roof ducting did a lousy job distributing the heat throughout the house. I was always cold even when the heat was "blasting". ATLAS did a thorough and patient analysis of our old system. They decided to double up the ducts to provide more air flow, and they also organized the flow inside the ducts: it worked. Frankly, the final cost was reasonable, considering the benefits I am getting from it. I particularly recommend Nick and Scott who supervised the project: they really looked into the project, then fixed the problem. Plus: the work was clean, and the communication great all along. Happy customer :-)
