I was told I had to take a photo for their files, but the process was not clearly explained to me, and I was not given any information about how the image would be stored, used, or protected. When I asked questions, I did not feel like my concerns were taken seriously. The entire situation made me feel racially profiled. Being pressured to take a picture without transparency about its purpose felt invasive and unnecessary. Given the location and the overall environment, I unfortunately wasn't surprised by how the situation was handled -- but that doesn't make it acceptable. Being made to feel uncomfortable, especially during Black History Month, over something that should have been handled respectfully and professionally, was disappointing. I joined expecting a welcoming and judgment-free atmosphere, but this experience did not reflect that at all. I hope management takes concerns like this seriously and ensures staff are trained to communicate policies clearly and treat every member with dignity and respect. Response: Respectfully, the burden should not be on me to reach out again. As a business, management should have taken the initiative to contact me directly after such a serious concern was raised. Simply asking me to come back and speak with management does not address the discomfort and distrust that was created. I do not feel comfortable reaching out to management at this location. Based on my experience, it appears that employees are not consistently applying policy but instead acting on personal discretion. When someone has been coming to your establishment for over six months without issue, suddenly being pressured to have their image stored without a clear explanation of the policy, data use, or privacy protections is unacceptable. There was no transparency about why the photo was required, how it would be stored, or how my privacy would be safeguarded. That is a legitimate concern. If this is truly a company-wide policy, it should be communicated clearly and applied consistently -- not selectively. It is also my belief that Izabel handled the situation in an unprofessional manner. On multiple occasions I have observed her disengaged at the front desk, turned away while talking with other employees rather than assisting members. The way this interaction was handled felt targeted and unnecessary. If Planet Fitness truly strives to provide a welcoming and judgment-free environment, that standard must be reflected in action -- not just in a templated response. I would expect corporate leadership, not just local management, to review this matter seriously.

Absolutely loved our experience at Toque. We can't attend right now due to school and club soccer…read moreschedule conflicts, but we're hoping to return when things line up again. Coach Tyler and Val worked with my kid the most, and both were incredibly attentive and intentional in their trainings. You can tell they care deeply about the kids, bring a lot of passion, and do a great job pushing them to improve. Great place, great energy, and a really positive environment for kids.

We went to Toque referred by two friends and a coworker who coached for the league. DUSD promotes…read morethe league every school year also. Different from our friends, we joined the summer league, which is shorter. Coming from grass/reg field soccer, everyone insisted that futsal couldn't hurt and it was a great in between for our spring and fall soccer seasons. Practice- U6 practices once a week. We showed up to the first practice and I counted over 25 players. On subsequent weeks, my count went up even more. There are so many players on the field that the 2 coaches laugh off mistakes instead of correcting them, they concentrate on returning players, and miss several players who come to them with zero experience and need extra help. A deeper dive into futsal rules is also lacking- regular soccer rules are different and parents are the ones yelling from the sidelines to help out new players who look confused. Game coaching- the biggest frustration. Coaches are often late and Mateo, the Futsal coordinator, shows his frustration almost every weekend. Coaches from different games share their previous night's fun activities, make fun of each other from field to field, and sit down when their goal difference becomes significant. When Mateo is on the field, he finds himself coaching one of the teams. If you're a parent, you either hope your kid is on the team that he's coaching, or yearn for him to be coaching your kid's team if he didn't magically jump on your team for help. You'd think that seeing Mateo would push the other coaches to lead, but they fall back in a, "Eh, he took over" kind of way. During the last game day, Mateo yelled so much on different fields, that he lost his voice- that's how hard that young man works!! The league has a lot of potential. I'm sure that's it's grown for many reasons. Big takeaway is that the player to coach ratio needs to be addressed. Coaching is not professional. Cost to player development value is not worth it. My son learned to step on the ball- IYKYK! I will say that the coaches are funny and the kids love them. Parents, on the other hand, look for more than entertainment in any sport/extracurricular activity.

This is a fantastic learning community with amazing instructors and an incredible professor. There is a great group of students of various levels that are mindful of your comfort as well. It is a great setup and they give you a bunch of floor time on the mat to roll after direct instruction. You cannot find a better studio, community, and schedule than this. This boy then proceeded to slam my son dome down with so much force he hit the back of his head against the floor mat. The advanced boy then put my son in a choke hold, My son was terrified and began to cry while he was being choked. As a concerned parent I stepped in to speak with the teacher that was supervising them and tell him to stop this immediately, my son is a beginner and he shouldn't have been placed with someone as advanced as the other little boy. When I asked him why would they put a beginner student with an advanced student, the teacher replied with, "this is how they learn." The anger I felt at that moment was so strong, how can a child be expected to learn such advanced fighting maneuvers when he is getting knocked down at every try? The answer to me seems like they wanted them to fight because my son is tall for his age, they were using this as mini fight club due to my sons size instead of a teaching moment. My son is only 5 and just starting this program. He should have never been put to "fight" with a child that has been training in this for months. The blatant disregard by the teachers to seeing my son terrified and crying is infuriating. It truly shows that they do not care for the safety of our kids. I quickly went to my son and the other boy and told him to let my son go, I grabbed my son and went home. I will not be bringing my son here again, they do not care about kids safety and will stand there doing nothing while your child cries and is full of fear.
