Nicole and her husband, Russell, and the crew at Superior Plumbing has the best service in terms of estimating, detail, communication, professionalism and pricing when it comes to commercial water heaters. We are glad we found them through Angi's List. They didn't pop up in Yelp. Other services provided much higher quotes, estimates, or made recommendations to do unnecessary work like changing the solar panels and connections which would have to $10k more or charge double what Superior quoted for the same work. I would use them again for both commercial and residential plumbing work.

He said i need to change the prv valve before any repairs could be done as the water pressure should be around 60psi. I have changed the prv in the past, about 4/5 years ago so i told him to go ahead and change it as im pressed for time havjng to work and prepare for the incoming typhoon. He didnt have a valve so needed to go to city mill to get one which they had in stock. The total repair came out to $4100, of which and i'll break it down cost wise. Costs gotten at a consumer pricing from Home Depot Now mind you this is the retail pricing for an normal consumer, not professional pricing (what you or i would pay if going into the store) Prv valve $89 5' length 3/4" copper pipe $50 Fittings $50 Ball valve shut off $ 19 Total of parts $208 $4100 minus the parts needed $208 $3892 labor 18 minutes to complete the repair, say 30 to make it easy $7784 in labor charge per hour I guess i should have purchased a solderless crimper and done it myself for a savings of $3900 Work was done professionally and quickly as promised and the area cleaned up before completion but the labor cost is whats bugging me- guess i got into the wrong profession

I told her my water heater only has cold water and no more hot water. She said that Martin could come to me same day to look at it. She needed to speak to my landlord first before going thru with the job. When she called me back at 10:15am, she said that she's guessing the eta would be around 1-2pm or 1-3pm as they were currently on a job in Kapolei and would call me back with a definite eta. We were waiting until I called Louise back at 2:30pm if she had an eta but no answer... Christopher, the son, he called me 5 minutes later saying they just finished in Kapolei and they still needed to get the water heater before coming to us. So we asked to reschedule for the next day in the morning. Next day, they arrived at 8:40am. They quoted me an estimate time of 1-2 hours to replace the water heater depending on difficulty. It took them an hour... or 50 minutes to be exact! They said it would take 30-45 minutes for hot water to be up and running. Air-O-Smith is a family owned business. Martin and his son, Christopher were so friendly and I enjoyed talking story with them! Louise is Martin's wife and she was very friendly over the phone :)

Ive called a few places, and this company has some pros and cons…read more First, Josiah was the plumber and seemed really nice, friendly and knew what he was doing. He changed my toilet and knew where the leak was emerging from which was great. The cons, they are a bit pricey--and I had gotten a few quotes from other plumbers but they did a 28$ fee to come see the issue and then gave a verbal estimate about the repair cost. They came the same day I called and was extremely responsive. The cost to change a toilet, remove my toilet. Fix the leak and assess the damage was 1375. Which is a pretty penny. Other competitors, ive got estimates of 500-700 for just toilet installation (not to fix the leak) and 175 an hour on top of additional fees with slower response time. So I guess it varies between response time, quality and a gamble. I did tell him that I had a budget and if he could work out the cost with me. So that was nice. Would I call them again? Maybe for the customer service.

He called me and told me there were 2 leaks underneath the slab, and that it will cost about $70,000 to divert all the plumbing in the house. when i got home, i saw a quote on my table for $89,000. The following week, i called a different plumber. He spent 45 minutes checking all the toilets, irrigation, and pool and found that the pool auto-refill was damaged. He fixed it on the spot.
