The team did an INCREDIBLE job getting a 10' restoration hardware couch up 3 flights of stairs and into the narrow door of an apartment. They also plastic wrapped all furniture to protect fabric from dirt and damage. Moving was stressful for me and the team helped alleviate a lot of that stress knowing how skilled they were.

Response time to my inquiry and subsequent communication was great-and they actually contacted me the night before reminding me of the time they'd meet me and yep, they were on time. So far I have used them 3 times; house to storage and condo (which had stairs!), then condo to house, and finally storage to house. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how reasonable their rates are. No surprises-they tell you up front what they charge and give you an estimate. If you want peace of mind with your move, this is the team to use. I really wouldn't even consider using anybody else and I could not be more pleased-they get my highest recommendation!

I did not have a dining room or anything like that. Living room couch TV console club chair. Bedroom queen, bed and mattress, dresser and two nightstands. Two counter chairs.... About 10 boxes 20 minutes apartment to apartment. Of course I complained and the general manager was very rude and told me I was supposed to watch the movers!! I didn't see that anywhere in the contract. I was busy moving my stuff into my car and driving it to my new place they would not take my stuff off of the truck until I paid... Do not use them. I searched on Yelp for someone local and Family Moving has 5 stars so I gave them a call. I thought they'd have to come out and give me a quote but Susie helped me out on the phone. She asked me to explain the size of the condo and how much furniture and then told me she would send over 3 guys. They charge by the hour and there is a 3 hour minimum. She happened to have a day the following week available so I booked them. Three young men showed up right on time and got right to work. I honestly thought they would be moving slowly to try to get the price up but they were quick and efficient. They wrapped a couple of glass shelves I was starting to wrap on my own - I didn't realize that was included! Once they got to my home on the other side with my hubby they were just as quick and efficient. He even asked them to help out moving a piece of furniture that we had in a room that we needed moved to another room and it was no problem at all. They wound up getting it all done in 3 hours and 15 minutes. We tipped them handsomely as we really appreciate great work ethic and attitude. I would highly recommend this company for any move you have in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area.
