The way this company treated me after I posted the below review is unbelievable. I added an update…read moreafter the review. Read to the end for the full story. This company is unethical. I went with this company only because they said they could remove my old r.v. in two days from contract. I sent pictures and specs. They said the $3500 estimate was so high because they'd have to gut it and take it apart. On the appointed day, no show. When I contacted them, they said the truck had issues and asked what day it HAD to be gone for closing on my house. The night before the new date, they texted me and said the price was now $6,000 because of the r.v. size and that they'd have to take it apart. That was all part of the quote. Now my closing is in jeopardy because there's no way I'm going to be scammed like that. Update: After I refused the amended price, I told them to cancel my order and refund my deposit. The next morning, the last day for me to move it, due to leaving the state, a cousin listened to my plight and recommended someone. I called the man and left a message. I wrote the above review while I waited for him to come to the house. AAA Rousse, a.k.a. Pro Junk, called me soon after. Janine was apologetic and tried to explain the price increase and I again pointed out those factors were already known. She said they aren't like my review sounded and then offered to come the next week, at the original price. I reminded her this was the day I needed it gone. She said if it didn't work out, I could let them know and they could still come the next week. She called me later after I texted her that the r.v. was gone. She was again chatty and friendly, but asked me many questions. In the end, she asked if I'd change or remove the review, to which I answered, "I'll think about it." A few minutes later, I got an angry and intimidating phone call from Robert, who asked, "Why are you smearing my company?" I'm not letting someone call and intimidate me, so I hung up. Then he texted me and said because I was smearing his company, he was going to turn my contract over to his attorney for collections as, he said, I had "broken the contract." Now remember, they raised the price from $3500 to $6000 the night before they were to come. I have attached screenshots of both the price increase and Robert's threatening texts. It makes me wonder how many other reviewers may have received similar treatment and backed down. If you NEED to go with this company over another, get everything in writing and avoid phone calls, unless you record them. Keep in mind this would have been a done deal if they had come when scheduled the first time or if they hadn't changed the price the night before the second time (when they knew I was under a time crunch). I could have taken down the review and they wouldn't have threatened me, but I want people to be forewarned.

I found this company because one of my coworkers used this company 2 months ago to move her…read moreclothes; not furniture. I figured I would give them a try based on their reviews. I spoke with the owner, told her what I needed, got the estimate, booked. The night before I asked the form of payments they accepted and was shocked to note they only accepted Zelle and Cash. Very limited in 2022, but I made it work. They were on time; husband, wife, and special guest: their toddler. Things outside of that were going great until the end of the move. Everything was delivered, or so I thought. I paid plus tipped. The movers left. I paid a fee to have my bed dissassembled and reassembled at the drop off. My bed was not only put together improperly, it was missing screws and anchoring legs. Had I not checked the bed by removing the mattress and boxspring later that night after noticing it was wobbly, I would have broken the frame of my bed and possibly been injured. I also noticed the glass tops to both of my nightstands were left on the truck; undelivered. My wooden tv stand was damaged on the sides from sliding it on and off the truck. When reached out to the owner/operator after several attempts she responded that she made the mistake of not checking the back of the truck and would deliver them the same day after her deliveries were completed (12/20/2022); however, she was "busy." As day changed into night, she eventually stopped responding to my text for an ETA and told me I was "harassing" her and to "stop texting her....Goodbye!!" She then blocked me. It has been 2 days later and I have received no correspondance and I have not received the rest of my delivery from this company. I have gone to the police and the owners have been contacted by the Lee County Sheriff, et al...... I still have not heard anything from the owner/operator. I feel robbed, disrespected, violated, and cheated. I let these people into my home. I trusted and paid these people. All I want is the rest of my delivery of which was their mistake to not deliver. This company acts with no integrity or respect for its customers. This mentality makes it hard for people to want to support small businesses due to the unprofessionalism and rudeness displayed to paying customers. I do not recommend Knowledge Moving Company to anyone. Your items may or may not make it to the destination and will be damaged.

I'm not sure any of those things are part of their thinking, despite claims to the contrary. I fired them once for not showing up and wish I had stuck to my guns. We altered our travel plans one weekend and emptied our walk-in closet expecting them to finish the upcoming Monday. They didn't show. They assured me they were all about customer satisfaction. They weren't. Pricing was quoted as being $100/hr for the team which I assumed meant husband/wife. Their initial billings seemed in line with that. They then seemed to think they could just name their price for each item piecemeal. I never agreed to that but simply hoped they would finish within a day as promised 3 times. Each time they left after a few hours or so and needed to have money for a weekend getaway. Or an I'm not leaving without this much type of demand. It all turned out to be very manipulative, and quite frankly, emotional in nature. There was also issues with poor communications and not listening to project directives. A lot of excuse making ensued. Minor additional requests became the reason for work not getting done. I paid them for far more than the time and priority they gave to our project. Broken promises caused another subcontactor to add costs for not having requisite items addressed for their visit completed. I could go on... Just a completely unprofessional experience all around.

She happened to have a day the following week available so I booked them. Three young men showed up right on time and got right to work. I honestly thought they would be moving slowly to try to get the price up but they were quick and efficient. They wrapped a couple of glass shelves I was starting to wrap on my own - I didn't realize that was included!
