The price point is too high. The initial diagnosis price $99 was supposed to be deducted from the actual price and that did not happen and was not reflected in the invoice as well. One the technician open the dryer you are left with no choice but to go with the repair. My issue was very minor with a squeaking dryer idler wheel and that was replaced and oiled, and I was charged almost $420. A dryer idler pulley which was $7 was priced at $120. Labor $250 to replace it and another $50 for cleaning the dryer. And the technician instead of doing his work was more intent on talking and distracting the situation. Only plus point was the prompt dispatch of the technician. Apart from that I would advise customers to check and ensure that your price is right and not get charged for simple replacements. I went by the great reviews and wanted to try Adams but the price point and lack of transparency and the technician left me with a bad customer experience and would make me think twice to call them.

We purchased most, if not all, of our appliances through them…read more Our most recent purchase was an Electrolux washing machine 1 year ago and the matching Electrolux dryer 1 1/2 years ago. They installed the dryer without completing the steamer attachments, and reused the old vent that had holes in it. They left the new vent and rings on top of the dryer along with the equipment to attach the steamer and left. I had to call them back and ask why they didn't finish the set up with the steamer option that we paid for along with reusing the old venting that had a hole in it. I didn't receive an explanation but they would credit me back for that part of the installation. They never came back to install the steamer and when I called again they told me it's better not to use that option as it would rust the dryer out. The 1 1/2 year old dryer recently started making very loud noises , so I called them again and they said they would send someone out. I explained this is only a 1 1/2 year old dryer that was purchased through them. I was told I didn't buy the extended warranty for $400 so it isn't covered. They sent out someone 3 weeks later to look at it. When the young man showed up at the door, he didn't introduce himself, just said "where is it"? I said ok, you must be from Doyons, and showed him where it was. Normally, they tell us what was wrong and how much it would cost to repair. Within 40 minutes, he came down and began to leave without saying a word. We had to stop him and ask what was going on. He was angry and irritated and just said it's fixed. We said you fixed it? He said yup and rattled off what he did and walked out the door. We already paid $190 for them to come out and diagnose the problem. They were supposed to look at the machine, tell us what was wrong, and the cost to fix it. Instead, he fixed it and tried to leave without telling us what was wrong or what he did to fix it and then they charged our card for an additional $387. All in all, this is no longer the Doyons from years ago. Poor service, rude customer service, and zero communication. They do not care about the customer any longer, just about how Much money they can drain from you for doing the bare minimum.

I have only used the project functionality once before but ended up using someone else. My normal repair go-to did not pick up the phone so I thought why not? They literally responded in under a minute. What's that saying the early bird catches the worm? Normally, I check out the business and see how many reviews they have do a little research but I was in a hurry so I asked how much and when they could come for a refrigerator repair. They said they could come the same day, And the price was right comparatively. (Diagnostic fee is 95$ which will go towards the repair cost.) There was some back-and-forth about when they could come and we decided on the next day. Adam showed up on time, was very polite and fixed our issue! Our Refrigerator had a lot of condensation and it turns out the fan was not working. He could've just said we needed a new fan and charged us for it, but he went beyond that and went through the back panel and noticed there was something unplugged and then the fan started working in our refrigerator is working great! I have so much respect for honesty and integrity. I highly recommend using their service I believe from the other reviews that they are a new service and they deserve all the new business! Finding trustworthy repair services can be hard and I'm glad I found Pegas and will absolutely be using them in the future, and you should too!

They​ were unbelievably friendly and​ spen​t lots of time identifying the problem. Tyler, is a totally great guy who went above and beyond including shoveling my steps ​(we are two elderly people​). We were informed apart would be ordered, fast forward 1 month later with me calling multiple time and being told the part was coming. Third call over a month later I was told that the location had been closed and they could do nothing for me, I was directed to call their head office 888-998-2011. Love this part, the answering system asks for zip code of your location before you are able to talk to someone come to find out there is no service anywhere near my home anymore so it hangs up on you. I was able to get thru by pressing the number if I was calling from Canada. You are now sent to a scheduling service only. I have had them escalate this issue 3x now with zero response from Mr. Appliance their answering service say they have no other way to help and we have been forced after over a month without an oven to have another company come in and pay another 350.00 diagnostic fee and a 800.00 repair bill to finally get our oven fixed. We are also still out our original 350.00 with no way to contact Mr. Appliance corporate (so much for customer services). They are part of the neighborly company and their slogan is "It's Not Done, Until It's Done Right!!" Never trust this company, they have actively set their system to give customers as little customer service as possible. They closed the location with total disregard for their customer, leaving us and I'm sure other's out of pocket and with their repairs not completed.

    Avoid at all costs!…read more We were hopeful when "Adam" reached out to schedule an appointment to fix one of our refrigerators. He called to get additional information about the issue, said he needed to order a part and then would schedule the repair. He called back a few days later, scheduled the appointment and then arrived at the agreed to time. He was here about 30 minutes, said he did not have the right part and needed to order a new "board" and would need to come back. We paid him the service fee, as required by our contract, and he drove off, never to be heard from or seen again. He stopped returning our calls and text messages to both numbers we have listed for him. He picked up the service call through our home warranty company, and they have not been able to reach him either. It has been over a month and he is not responding to anyone. At this point, we have to move on to another repair person. However, we are also going to file a police report in both our home town and the town where his business is located. Because he did not complete the work, we now have to pay another service call fee for someone to come diagnose the issue. He did not deliver on his end of the agreement and we will do whatever we can to hold him accountable. Avoid this service at all cost, who knows how much money he has scammed people out of.
