Service is ridiculous. Selection is great with a wide variety of soldeiets gear! Value is ridiculously priced! They give these soldiers maybe $20 for their gear they turn in and then turn around and sell it for 10x the price! This store should not exist! It just doesn't make sense. Do not recommend. BEWARE OF THIS STORE.!!!!!!! MOST RUDE DISRESPECTFUL EMPLOEES EVER..!!!! My wife and I recently visited this store and at first it looked like it would be a nice store. I had called into the store prior to check if they carried the item I was looking for, so we were now there to look into the item further. As soon as I walked in I saw an employee behind the counter. I said to the man "hello, I'm the person that called looking for a U.S. Airforce flag?" The man gave me a look and then walked out from behind the counter as though to proceed to the area on the sales floor the item is located, as I assumed. Not more than a minute had lapsed and he returned with the items I was looking for. Now, I wanted to Inspect the merchandise. So, with his hand extended I reached to grab the item but he quickly pulled it away from me like some 3yr old. And said to me " what did you say..?" At the moment I wasn't sure what he was referring to so I replied " excuse me..?" He proceeded to say that I was being rude. This was so out of ordinary and weird as hell. I had no idea what this man was even referring to. But, nevertheless since this weird enteraction was happening. It had ruined our desire to continue the whole thing any further.. At that moment I said to the man."thats ok" and my wife and I began to leave. As soon as we turned and started walking away. The employee shouted "yea! get the f#@! out my store!" We were so shocked to be spoken to like that by a military store employee. All we wanted was to buy a American U.S. Airforce flag to put up in front of our home to support our troops and our young daughter actively serving in the AirForce. Great surplus store! It's interesting how many people spend hundreds of dollars buying "commercial-quality" goods when they can buy military-grade goods from a surplus store for a fraction of typical retail price. Most of these products do not have a "MSRP" sticker tag. These have no-frills packaging (if any), which cuts costs down greatly since you're not paying for flashy marketing or packaging. When you enter a surplus store, you need to be in "treasure finding" mode. Usually if there's a overstock of something, then you'll find it severely marked down. Depending on the item (such as clothing or some packs) - you may find them used (but in good condition). If it's good enough for our troops, its good enough for me! There is a decent assortment of packs, clothing, boots, headgear, flags, and other little useful trinkets and gear. They even have a section with MREs, emergency food bars and water (you never know when you'll need it). This location is a smaller location compared to its Fullerton surplus store. Parking is prohibited in front of the store (it's Beach Blvd) - you can find parking in the back of the store - there's three spots but more than enough if you go on a weekday like I did. Clerks were friendly and knowledgeable. Was told new shipments come in monthly so will check back every now and then to see what else I can find. Great place to stock up on gear for the inevitable - Massive EQ, Zombie Apocalypse, (whatever else potential major disaster). read more

I've use to go to one in Fullerton but this one is closer to my location. This place is clean and organized, they have some new and clean used equipment... they are not over priced like some other places, where you pay arm and leg for used, broken equipment... the staff here is very helpful and they know enough to help you... The parking is in the back side of the store and the location is easy to find while driving in the street. And the parking in the backlot have plenty of space. read more

I cannot say enough about All American Military Surplus. My husband and I happened upon the store on Beach as we were driving around. We just walked in to look around, but ended up buying a bunch of supplies. Mike then told us about their bigger store in Fullerton. We went and were in awe! Mike and John are awesome, they answered all of our questions and even helped us find the right sizes for my husband. The prices are outstanding! There were a lot of people in there and they were super busy, but still were very attentive to our needs. They have extensive knowledge on all military branches and products pertaining to each branch. If anyone is in need of any military supplies, this is the place to go. We have shopped all military stores around, as far as Oceanside, and this place by far is the best in prices and service. I highly recommend! read more

I do not recommend buying anything from this place. I went here to buy a mountain tab for my uniform and they sold me a tab that doesn't even have Velcro on it and they told me to go to the .99cent store to buy some Velcro and slap it on there. I wanted to smack them in the face for saying that. And when I asked to return the tab they said they don't do refunds. So I pretty much just bought a souvenir. Don't buy from these people. They don't know anything about the military. read more

This place is like a toy store for us into all stuff military. They have such a wide selection of stuff that is not in all that unnecessary packaging and boxes, which allows you to try it out and see if it is what you are looking for. Sure it can be somewhat hard to find the place if you have never been there, but it only gets easier finding it after the first time. The owner and the staff are really friendly, the first time i ever went there I went just to look around and they were not rude for not purchasing something; so i have been telling everyone about it and going back ever since. I usually get camping gear and edc gear and it has never failed me, I always seem to find what I was looking for and they always answer any questions I may have read more
