I wanted to start out with something small to see what kind of work he did as we've had pretty awful luck with other local handymen. I was impressed that he responded to my initial contact within the hour. I described the project, sent him pics of exactly what needed to be done and received his quote back promptly. He was able to work us into his schedule very quickly, arrived exactly at the time he said he would and did a wonderful job. In fact, I'll go so far as to say he did a perfect job. He was friendly, but didn't waste time chit chatting, went straight to work and had completed the job AND cleaned up his mess very quickly. He offered a very reasonable fee for the job I needed done and stuck to that fee even after I added a small thing I'd forgotten to mention when I initially contacted him. I will absolutely call upon him again for future needs, am thrilled that he has such versatile skills and will recommend him with no hesitation whatsoever, something I rarely do. I am remodeling and renovating a property in the Warsaw area and have been thru a series of local repairmen and handypersons who have repeatedly ripped us off, had horrible work ethic and/or accepted work far beyond their capability and then had to hire someone else to fix what they "fixed" and made worse. I wish I could rate them with no stars . Brian West is an…read moreabsolute crook . Our AC went out over 3 weeks ago . He sent his people out to refill the Freon and somehow it ended up freezing up . Our house ended up being 90+ degrees . Then he states that we need a new unit . We agreed upon a pre owned very young unit with a 2 year warranty. However that was incorrectly hooked up and we were back to 90+ degrees . The second unit was the wrong size unit but he stated "It'll work ". No Bueno Brian . It didn't work . It took us another week to get them back out and guess what !!? Something apparently blew . Now we also have no heating system as well . On the meantime this joker offers to trade us a new unit for my husband's motorcycle. No Brian , this is not how a business works .. So after Brian takes a trip to Sturgis he claims he will get this part to fix it . Well we verified that the part is a $20 in stock part and he could have done that already . But Sturgis ... Priorities... My husband had to track him down . Again. It's only been 3 weeks you know.Brian hung up on him and refuses to answer our calls . Sadly I wish I would have found the reviews on this company . Brian has done this repeatedly. Brian is also a felon on probation. Brian should have fixed our AC . Brian should have not ripped other people off . Brian wasn't supposed to leave the state . Brian had just taken a couples check for a new AC unit , cashed it and went to Sturgis . And we have their receipt also . This has to stop ! Three complaints on the BBB and two complaints on Angis List . One of these complaints shows extensive damage to their ceiling . Somehow he managed to cause a leak that went from the ceiling to the floor below . Infants shouldn't play big kids games . When I posted on FB I received 5 messages about this company and more specifically Brian West . We did call the sheriffs office and they knew him well . We have more people behind us now and can hopefully stop him from taking peoples money and not doing the work . So maybe this is a little long but I do hope you take the time to read this . Brian is very very good at making excuses for his poor reviews , but somehow we cannot all be wrong .
