I was referred to H&C plumbing by a friend who said they would stand behind their work. Last fall…read moreI had them come install a water heater and softener. It was brought to my attention there were spliced wires and water was dumping on the dirt in my crawl space. I called them and told them the installation was not done correctly. They had technicians come the next morning, they repaired the spliced wires, connected the drain for the water softener. When they were done they gave me a bill for $193 which I asked the techs why I was responsible for that. I called their company, got VoiceMail telling them how dissatisfied I was in the original installation. When I went to pay, the owner said his guys didn't do the electrical but he'd research and call me back. I corrected him stating H&C had done it all. He called me and said they'd take $100 off my bill. I went back and settled up with them. I was/am a dissatisfied customer. I feel I should not have been billed for anything because this was never installed correctly. Very expensive and always sends two technicians.

Installation was quick and clean when they left. Installation was completed professionally. (Note I am not easy to please) Tom explained the system and addressed everything before they left. Very happy,so much so we purchased a second additional complete system from them. Eric Loeb

We were extremely pleased with Tom Giardina and his company, American Heating and Cooling in…read moreGravois Mills, MO. We moved into our home at the Lake of the Ozarks two years ago. We knew, at that time, that our Heating and Cooling system was 17 years old and would need to be replaced even though the home inspector and the company maintaining it assured us that it was good for years. We started having trouble with it and looked for a Trane Dealer in this area. Because of Tom's and Trane's reputations, we chose American Heating and Cooling. Tom was extremely helpful in guiding us to a heat pump, air handler and smart thermostat, as well as, a filtration system with UV light that would fit our home and be extremely efficient but, at the same time, was not overkill and overpriced. Between the time we ordered the system and its delivery from the factory in the United States, we started having more trouble with our old system. Tom came out the day we called him, fixed the system and kept us cool in the extreme heat we were having at the time. Tom and his crew did an excellent job installing the new system. They were timely, efficient and very considerate of us and our home. During the install they had to tie into our old duct work. In the process Tom discovered some things that were done incorrectly in the original build of the house which he fixed. Tom and American Heating and cooling are highly recommended.
