Unfortunately, the experience was extremely frustrating from start to finish. They canceled three separate appointments, and on each occasion, we were left dealing with the inconvenience of their lack of communication. The first cancellation was due to a family emergency, which I completely understood and had no issue with. The second appointment was canceled because they said they had gone to the wrong residence. The third time, they said their equipment had broken the day before. Despite knowing this, they gave us no notice whatsoever and left us waiting the following morning for them to arrive. After three cancellations and repeatedly having our time wasted, I called to let them know that this was unacceptable and that I wanted the AHS service ticket terminated so I could have another company handle the problem. During that conversation, the man I spoke with became aggravated. At the end of the call, he apparently thought he had already hung up--but I could still hear him, and he referred to me as a "fucking bitch." Regardless of how frustrated a customer or business may be, that kind of language is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I understand that emergencies happen and that equipment can break. What I don't understand is repeatedly failing to communicate with a customer who has been waiting for service, and then responding with disrespect when the customer finally expresses frustration. Three canceled appointments, inadequate notice, and an extremely disrespectful interaction are enough for me to say that I would not recommend Neels Plumbing based on my experience. I hope others are aware of what happened before choosing to do business with them.
