First crew stopped out, got most of the material out, but left one of my gutter screens warped/off and a second crew had to come by later fortunately I just had to contact them, and the manager was very apologetic and though it took a couple weeks for them to come back, they fixed it in ten minutes. When I wouldn't budge, they tried to sell their other products -- moquitoes, ticks, laundry vents. When they did the work, they left an awful mess of sticks and some leaves all around the perimeter of my house. I called mulltiple; you never get the same representative twice. After speaking to several people, the manager argued with me when I insisted they clean up the debris, stating they don't do landscaping. I was asking them to clean up the mess that they had made. My yard had been clean beforehand. After many calls, they came and cleaned it up. The fellow in charge of the crew was very nice, unlike the office staff. They do send a text to say they are coming -- "in a few minutes or an hour," very specific. After 2.25 hours of waiting for the third visit, I called and got the typical "some jobs take longer," and that I didn't need to be there. No? And responsible companies call if they are running late, but I was told that the crew has no way of contacting the client. Obviously, they should change the text to "we will be there sometime today." Ned's Gutter Cleaning is a terrible company to deal with.

He told me he was fully insured and that they would remove my ice dams without causing any damage…read more He told me he would be here while the job was being done, but they came and started without him. They were hacking away at the ice with hammers and the house was shaking so I made them stop before finishing. I felt much more comfortable with just the raking. Once the snow melted, I noticed dents and paint chipping on the gutters. Mind you, I just had the house painted the summer before this winter so the paint on the gutters was fresh! I let it slide because I thought I could just paint over it, but then I had a roofer look at a skylight on another part of the house and while on the roof he noticed that the shingles had also been damaged as well as an area of the drip edge where they had been hammering. Mind you I have a new roof in good condition! I was displeased at this point, but when I made John aware of the damage, he promised to come out three times and never showed. When he finally did show up he denied that they had anything to do with the damage and told me that they had removed ice dams in other locations. When he had come out to look at the job, I pointed out the bay window, which was leaking, above which the worst of the ice dam was! And I was here when his workers were hammering away, and I know they were working on the same spot where the damage was. He just does not want to pay for the damage, given how extensive it is. This guy has no integrity when something goes wrong. I would not do business with him. I'm sure he's fine if everything goes right, but sometimes things don't go right. He seems really nice before he takes the job and makes a lot of promises, but he just wants the sale and doesn't care about the quality of the job. My other concern is I'm a single woman trying to take care of my house by myself. There is no man here and I feel like he feels like he can take advantage of that and there are no consequences. They were fast, efficient, polite, extremely hard-working, professional and cared about the job. We didn't even need an architect, just a handshake. If I am working with a contractor on something as important as a roof, I would expect that the…read morecompany care about the results and, if there are issues with their product later on, they would respond and care even more. Antonio felt as if he could bully, intimidate me into removing a negative review because I felt that he wasn't providing adequate service. I can attest to the fact that Antonio is NOT customer service oriented and should never interact with customers because his doing so will definitely hurt a company that really has good values, reputation and that is growing financially. As a result of Antonio's antics, I ended up writing negative reviews and even contacting the BBB to file a complaint. I thought that Antonio was the only person who could address the problem but was I so wrong. Robert contacted me on Friday, September 1, and I could tell that he was very concerned about what was happening with my roof and ceilings. He showed up on Saturday morning, with his crew, and he actually walked through my kitchen, upstairs bedroom and the attic space, reviewed the video and the photo's that were taken, and even did the water hose test. Very thorough because he actually cared and wanted to find out what the problem was. He listened to me, and for that alone, I was appreciative. He wasn't condescending, he was patient, kind and caring and thorough. He didn't treat me like I was an idiot simply because I was not a roofer. I even had to leave for a scheduled meeting and I was absolutely comfortable leaving him and his crew at my home with my kids, and of course my neighbor. He followed up, told me the next steps, scheduled the time and they showed up. No changes, now showing up when they wanted to, and a very detailed, step by step project. On Tuesday, two of his contractors showed up, and from the moment they met me, he knew my name and they were so polite, and clean, they knew their stuff. I didn't expect all that was done but after they cut through the roof, he showed me the water stains on the wood but everything was dry, then they replaced the ceiling in the kitchen and painted my entire ceiling. In addition, they went to my son's room and replaced the rotted wood wall panel that was molded, and painted it too! This was way more than I expected. Those two guys worked hard, and until they were finished. I tried to buy them lunch but they were so humble. We are praying that the leaks are all fixed (none so far) and, if anything does happen again, I know that I can reach our to Robert and He will be there! I will always contact Robert for any issues, new jobs or projects that I may have, even for my company as I am a property manager and will float their company around my company. Northland, please take this advice, Robert should be the face of the company. His customer service is outstanding and soothing. Our interaction on the phone and in person was so easy and pleasant that I almost forgot about the issues I had with Antonio. I can move on now, and trust Northland because of Robert and his crew. From me (Angel) and my kids, Alvin, Anika and Amora, You're the BEST, Robert! Thank you soooooo verrrrry muuuuch!
