We learned about All About Events just a few weeks before my daughter's wedding. Steven and his company were very responsive and were able to arrange a tent and an RV for the groom and his men with less notice than I am sure they are used to. Everything was delivered and set up on time. It was clean and in great working order... and both were welcome additions to our event. We used the Solstice Tent as a photo booth and it was a great hit. And the Mobile Mancave gave the groom and his men a place to hang out in comfort while they waited for everyone else to arrive. We chose to hire Brooke from All About Events as our wedding planner. We wanted someone who could coordinate all our vendors, since we live 2.5 hours away from where our wedding was held. This company also handled all of our dish ware and silverware for the tables, which was something I didn't want to deal with. Since Brooke has prior experience in catering she was able to flawlessly tell me which plates, glassware, silverware, serve ware, we needed for the amount of people we were having at our wedding. She also coordinated with all of our vendors, picked up the desserts the day of the wedding, and made a time-line for the day! I was able to contact her whenever I had a question or needed her to do anything. The day of the event she was awesome! Only coming to me to ask if I needed a drink (haha!), or asking if we were ready to start cake cutting, walk over to the barn, and other essential questions. She also checked in on the groom, and mothers of the bride and groom. Overall, so nice and so down to business! I had numerous compliments on the flow of our wedding. I didn't want any downtime. I wanted people to be active and interested in what was going on. And with her help and coordination with the DJ, she made this happen! Brooke from All About Events was recommended to me by my florist to be my wedding coordinator at Greengate Ranch in SLO and I am so happy she came into my life! When interviewing other coordinators it seemed like they just wanted to take the reigns and run the show for me. Working with Brooke felt more like working with a friend. She was so relaxed and went with my ideas and just added suggestions to improve on them. She was always available for questions, able to accommodate and meet whenever we were in town, able to go to meetings when we weren't, and even did a little craft project with my napkins right before the wedding ! It's so helpful that she works with the rental company, too, because it's so easy for her to find anything you ask for! Brooke is worth every penny - and unlike most coordinators by the book, she doesn't nickel and dime you for every hour spent. She was supposed to be my "month of" coordinator but the moment you sign with her she is available for helping out. My wedding went off without a hitch and I couldn't have been a more relaxed and happier bride - people even commented on how happy and not stressed I was which is very unlike me in a situation like this :) Our rentals from AAE were perfect. We decided to us All About Events after knowing how many events they had done at our wedding venue, Terra Mia. Although they were a bit more expensive than other rental companies in the area we decided that their expertise of the venue space was really important to us. They were very easy to work with and were very patient with me when I had questions, and I had a LOT of them. The gal we worked with, Lindsay was also provided us with tons of recommendations for other vendors which was super helpful. One criticism is that they have a limited selection of certain items, but it sounded like they were starting to increase and diversify their inventory. read more

All About Events was amazing to work with! They supplied rentals for our 275 person wedding at a new venue in SLO called the Loma Grande Ranch on September 19th, 2015. Everything had to be brought in, including, ovens, a dance floor, and all of the tables, chairs and linens. Brooke helped us coordinate the rentals to make sure everything was accounted for. All About Events was originally supposed to supply rentals for our wedding in September of 2014, but 3 months before the wedding, we had to push the date back a year because I had been diagnosed with breast cancer and had to undergo 9 months of treatment. Brooke was so understanding and accommodating. She never questioned my intentions and she was so supportive throughout the year. I would without a doubt use them again. read more

We had our wedding reception June 22nd, 2019 at the Mission Plaza in SLO. This venue was unique and a destination for us, so there was a lot of hoops to jump through and we had to put a lot of faith into our vendors. We visited a few companies in SLO county and walked away feeling less than impressed with the service and inventory. But the moment we walked into AAE to meet, you could tell they were on another level and sold us on the first impression/ treatment alone. We met and coordinated with Caitlin through this whole process and she made us feel extra special. Not only was she prompt in her responses, she was extremely knowledgeable and helped give us a lot of peace of mind knowing this was going to be one less thing we had to worry about. We must have emailed back and forth 50 times, adding or taking away things, but she was more than accommodating throughout. She even gave us great suggestions and had an eye for design. My wife and I had a specific concept we wanted to go with, and Caitlin advised us on how to make it work, which ended up blowing our expectations out of the water! Side note: AAE's use of social media and updated website, along with the easy to understand and readily available price sheets really helped us comprehend what exactly we were getting and made it easy to budget for, so there were no surprise costs. We also gained a lot of inspiration from their frequent Instagram posts. Finally, their décor and inventory was by far the best, most updated, and had comparable pricing from the other companies we had previously visited. Since our Venue was unique, we had to set up the whole reception the morning of and have the whole thing taken down and out by 10PM that same night to avoid any fines or tickets from the City. Because of these constraints, our timelines were very strict in order to make this all happen. We also had over 170 guests so this was no simple task. Not only did they arrive on time, early on a Saturday morning for set up, but they also came back that night and helped load everything up and were gone before our deadline. Long overdue review... we had our wedding in May of 2017 at Terra Mia in Paso and we used AAE for our rentals and Brooke as our wedding coordinator. I cannot stress enough how great of a company this was to work with. Brooke is a total gem and if you are in need of a local coordinator who will take away all the stress of wedding planning, she is your girl. All about Events did a stellar job of handling my parents' 90th birthdays/67th wedding anniversary party at their home last weekend. I'd requested tables, chairs, a bar, linens, ceramic plates, multiple sets of glasses, coffee mugs, silverware et al for a 70-person outdoor lunch. Everything arrived on schedule & was delivered & left exactly as I'd requested, clearly labeled, in the right quantities -- a major relief since I arrived from out of town the day before the event. Friends & family helped with setup, & my servers took over the final touches when they arrived. It all looked great & performed beautifully, which is saying a lot since it turned out to be a windy afternoon that could have been disastrous with lightweight or poorly assembled goods. Lindsay was patient & helpful throughout the planning process, and was flexible about changes & additions even though the party was smack-dab in the middle of wedding season. Per the contract, my servers scraped & stacked plates & glasses afterward, & we bagged soiled napkins & tablecloths in big fabric sacks provided by All About Events. Voila -- the next morning, everything disappeared as magically as it had arrived. Not only that, but I don't live in the Central Coast, so had planned everything remotely, including catering & servers. All About Events worked seamlessly with my other contractors, & many guests commented on how elegant and smooth the party was. I'd give All About Events 6 stars (and Lindsay a raise!) if I could.
