The morning of our arrival we were hitting some traffic traveling up from Los Angeles so we tried calling to see if instead of pickup up the balloons they would be able to deliver them. I found 4 different phone numbers between Google and their website and called several times over the course of an hour before anyone picked up. The voicemail was full so I wasn't able to leave a message either. The girl who finally picked up was very sweet however she admitted to not taking down our phone number when we first placed our order and was happy I called her otherwise she didn't know how she was going to get ahold of us to confirm details, (that we had previously discussed) like the color we wanted! There was also a lot of back and forth with her having to talk to someone else to answer our questions and the entire process felt very disorganized. She originally told us it was a $20 delivery fee but after talking to I think her sister, she said she was wrong and it was $35. Felt a little pricey for our location being around 7 miles away but we agreed. When the balloons arrived they were a MESS. The girl who delivered them, who was also very sweet, handed us the balloons all crumpled and tangled up. Even she knew they looked terrible and kept apologizing for them being so tangled. We managed to free them and not only were the balloons themselves small, like not fully blown up big and beautiful, but the strings were cut so short and came curled. Huh? I've never had balloons come with the strings short and curled unless requested. If that's how they do it fine but because of them being tangled the curls were not even done nicely. They were uneven and crumpled up. We were so bummed with how terrible they looked but just said thanks? and the woman left. After a few moments she came back and asked if I had the right Venmo to send the rest of the amount. At that point I told her we were really not happy with the product and she agreed they didn't look great and that she would talk to her sister about the price since the balloons arrived in bad shape. She also told us we could take scissors and fix the curls ourselves. I'm sorry, but that's what we hired you for so we wouldn't have to do it! Her sister eventually called and made excuse after excuse. She said that it was because they were delivered in a car and that's why they were tangled. What?! How as a business do you offer delivery service and charge for it if you can't do it without ruining the product we paid for?! It makes no sense. In that case I would have just picked it up myself and made sure it was done properly. If you are going to offer and charge for that service you should be able to make sure it comes in good condition or don't offer it. She also said WE didn't specify that we wanted the strings not curled and long. As a business you should have clarified with us how they would come. They didn't even remember what color we originally called and ordered with them and lost our contact number so I shouldn't be surprised there were other details not communicated. We spent over $70 on the saddest ballon's we've ever seen and it felt like they didn't care at all and just wanted our money. The minute I sent the Venmo they stopped replying or trying to make the situation right. They blamed us and pretty much just said sorry it is what it is... pay us. Oh and to add salt to the wound.... We came back to the house a few hours after the balloons were dropped off and half of them were already on the floor. Terrible. The right thing to do would have been to not charge us for the delivery since it was executed SO poorly. We were not at all trying to get out of paying for the balloons, but the customer service and product execution was not worth full price. I'm sure to them we are not local and they won't get regular business from us, so they just wanted to make their money and be done with us. They had zero desire to make things right which really sucks because it was such a special weekend for our bride. It really is sad it seems like they only cared about money and not at all in taking pride in how they make their customers feel or the execution of the job they charge people hard earned money for. I unfortunately wouldn't recommend this place. At least not for balloons or professionalism.

    This is in response to Ernie B owner at Taylor Rentals, regarding my complaint. (Below). You…read morethought you'd get away with that response. Oh no. On the contrary Mr. Ernie B, you will not! Way to gas light your custmors. Shame on you! I walked into your store with a happy and positive attitude, only to be treated as if I were in the way. First of all I am allowed to make this public. Too bad if you don't like it. I have given an honest and fair review based on your manager who had a bad attitude when she wasn't doing her job, and didn't like it when I asked her to help me. I couldn't care less if you like her. To quote you..."We unfortunately encountered a person who despite any and all reasonable efforts to make her satisfied, we simply could not make happy" is a bare faced lie! I asked her to help me because she was doing paper work, rather than helping the customer. When I asked her, sit was obvious she didn't like it. When I asked her to email me a quote, she gave me 'smirk' face with no eye contact, and an attitude. Despite this, I remained pleasant. She said she would email me the quote, and I said 'thank you.' Then she chose not to email me my quote out of sheer spite. And all because she didn't like it that I said. "Are you able to help me today?" And this is how you do business? This isn't a business. It's a joke! No wonder I wasn't happy. I have a right not to be happy if your business is not up to par. It's your job to address an unhappy customer and see how you can make it better. Not gaslight them, and stick up for your rude employee! Since you insist on gaslighting your customers, I'll be blasting my reviews, and your response to 20,000 in SLO county. Ernie B...here's some advice. Be very careful how you treat your loyal customers. The public can make or break your business. Any normal business owner would have responded with ...."I'm so sorry you had a negative experience in our store. How can we make it better for you." You're a bad business owner who refuses to take responsibility for your shitty staff! To those reading this, my review is an honest account of how I was treated. Poor customer service, and a bad attitude. If you scroll down and read some of the other reviews on other pages, you will see that I am not the only unsatisfied customer. I never complain. I am always a happy, pleasant and polite. I ended up making an appointment with 'All About Events' in Paso Robles. They are wonderful. Polite, helpful, professional and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

She went beyond and even helped design our wedding logo which we ended up using on all our wedding décor! She was so quick to get back to me with all my questions and requests making sure I was a happy bride throughout the wedding planning and on my wedding day. We wanted the black and white "Kardashian" photo booth look for our wedding. Yvonne was able to get us exactly the look we envisioned, working with me on best choices for the backdrop, props, prints, and a BEAUTIFUL guestbook. All my guests said how cute and put together our photo booth was and how sweet the ladies were. 805 Booth did such a great job to get all our guests to take photos AND sign the guest book. Our guest book is now a coffee table book and all our guests love looking through out it to live through the beautiful memories. I would HIGHLY recommend 805 Booth if you want to work with professionals who will work with you to get you exactly what you want for your special day. THANKS LADIES! :)

I have been coordinating events for several years now and was happy to find that this Paso Robles Company moved to my neck of the woods in Atascadero. I was working with a mom who was planning a Quinceanera and they transformed a basic looking Banquet Room into a magical place with a dance floor with draping and several different light features, projected and sparkling etc... The delivery was by the owner himself who has done red carpet events and Beverly Hills White Parties. And I was impressed! The whole last event was orchestrated by Rhianna from the beginning to the end. I had to call about a delivery issue and even though I interrupted her DAY OFF, she made a few phone calls and I was called right away by the owner. My client was very happy as well. She also dealt only with Rhianna from start to finish. Every single time I needed to talk to anyone there, Rhianna either answered or called me right back. And this event that I am referring to, actually happened during their move from their Paso Robles location to their new Atascadero location. I guarantee, if I am not happy with a business I will definitely YELP them! And if I am happy, I will eventually sit down and write a rather lengthy YELP to thank them for a job well done. Thank you Rhianna! YOU my dear are the greatest! And I look forward to doing many more events with you and Central Coast Tent & Party!

    After searching several rental companies, Central Coast Tent & Party had the best pricing for our…read moreevent. Considering that most rental companies use the same third party for linens, we figured we'd end up getting the same things anyway. Not to mention, their cocktail tables were much nicer than anywhere else. We soon found out what you get for the additional money: customer service. We had to go back-and-forth with Michelle several times on our invoice to correct errors in the items, quantity and price. Then, on the day before the wedding, we discovered they had shorted us 3 cocktail tables and 30 napkins. When we called to get it corrected, we were told they could only give us 2 tables and were given the option of selecting from 3 alternate colors for the napkins. Rather than having 90 napkins of one color and 30 of another, I asked that they deliver 60 white napkins, so we could alternate them with the other color on the tables. I was told that Michelle had already left to deliver the other colors. I explained that this was not my problem and that they needed to fix it. When we arrived on the morning of the wedding, I discovered that we received the other colors and had not received the white napkins as I had requested. I was told that they would be "happy" to refund the difference for the napkins. That's not much solace when you're staring down a wedding in four hours. Our caterer ended up providing us with the white napkins, and I'm still waiting for my refund...
