Also grateful to support an organization that provides service dog training to Vets and people with disabilities. The classroom setting was great, giving us appropriate challenges and experiences with other dogs/people. Inclined Canine Academy - First Day at Day Train Program

We have done training before with other known companies, which has given my big boy a great foundation (as well as myself, because lets be honest us humans are really the ones that need the training). But Inclined is a whole different level! The trainers invest and want to make your fur baby succeed on all levels. So your dog isn't social, they will make space for that, your dog isn't friendly, they will make space for that, your dog doesn't listen, they will make space for that... the space is done in baby steps, which allows your fur baby to succeed. They are also solid in the communication area. Which is huge to me. All I can say is do your part and invest in your animals, its your responsibility as a pet parent. Why not get connected with a program that will train your animal as well as you the pet parent. My experience has been nothing but positive, its one of the best investments I have made in my dog and that is priceless!

Keith and his team are incredible--they don't just train your dog, they teach you how to understand and work with your dog. Highly recommend to anyone looking for real results!

I began exploring all kinds of programs with various trainers around the idea and Primal Canine stood apart from the get go because: (1) Erin is an amazing, kind and professional person to work with. She is prompt, yet not pushy. She worked with the facts and empathy for our needs and budget to help us get to the right program. (2) The trainer we were assigned to was forthcoming, efficient and excellent with the training. He was clear with what we could expect and what the constraints were. (3) Primal Canine is local to where we live, and we really preferred to go with a nearby small business, as both one we could support and build a relationship with, and for convenience. Within the 3 weeks of board and train our puppy went through, he came back with solid foundations and ability to understand and respond positively to basic commands. Primal's role does not end with the program - they constantly support with our needs and questions even after graduating from B&T, and actually offer a lifetime of resources to help us grow and flourish with our new best friend. We could not be happier we went with Primal and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to build a rewarding relationship with their dogs. Special shout-out to Erin and the trainer we worked with - you've been amazing to our family. Thank you!

On our…read morefirst visit, we were impressed by how inviting her home, and huge backyard was, for both people and pets! The dogs that were there visiting were all happy, well entertained, and gently disciplined, only when needed. We felt at ease with Mary's outgoing, yet calm personality. During our visit, we also met Mary's neighbors, who spoke highly of Mary's care for their dogs over many, many years. We were convinced then, and now, that Mary offers an amazing and loving "vacation" home for our most treasured possessions, our family pets. Mary's is very popular, so she carefully selects the groupings of dogs that board each week, making sure they will get along with each other. A recent reviewer mentioned overbooking, but that has not been our experience. We have to book in advance, and confirm our reservation, not just express an interest. Otherwise, we cannot be guaranteed a spot. Sometimes, we are unable to use Mary's because she has a booking limit. The reviewer also mentioned crates, but I haven't seen any. The dogs sleep in the house, and are segregated by rooms, when necessary. Mary told us that if our dogs required crates, to bring our own. There was plenty of room for all the boarders, and all dogs received lots of attention. We have been to Mary's three times, and each time we consistently observe a clean, safe, and fun environment. After a recent visit, we received a thank you card from Mary, along with pictures of our dogs while they were there! How sweet! Mary is a true lover of animals, and she cares for all her furry visitors as if they were own.

Thank you so so so much Terrie for taking such good care of my little fur-baby Friday!…read more I found Terrie's Dog Sitting on yelp, because my whole family and I were going to be out of town (for my wedding), and I couldn't be more thrilled! I was going to bring my rat-terrier to a doggie day care or a vet (recommended by my regular vet since they do not provide boarding services). However, after my initial calls, I found their prices to be astronomical! I would have cost me nearly $1,000 to have someone watch my dog for 9 days!! Terrie was accommodating in drop-off and pick-up times, which was a real life-saver since I was leaving a few days before my fiance, and he works in SF so he gets home quite late. I packed up a crate with blankets from home, a few squeaky toys, food for the week, and some treats for Friday, and she was set for the week! Terrie truly loves animals, so I was comfortable leaving my baby with her. She took excellent care of Friday (which can sometimes be tricky, given her mischievous rat-terrier personality). Friday was allowed in the house, just like at home. There was also a large fenced in back yard for the dogs to play around in. If I am ever in need of a dog sitter, Terrie will be my first call!

Maybe a bit better --- I think they get more exercise at Terrie's. Stanley's tail starts wagging when the car turns into Terrie's street, and Willow is a little reluctant to go home when it's time to pick them up. No human endorsement is as good as that!
