DATE & TIME: August 8, 2026…read more5:30pm, they were busy. AMBIANCE: Large grocery with many items to choose from. Very normal decor. Always pleasant place to walk through and try a few things. STAFF: CASHIER: Older lady, friendly enough, she wasn't rude. (I think she was a bit frustrated from her recent interaction with the "lead cashier" who was a blonde younger gal). OTHER (Stocker, Deli, Bakery, etc): No other interactions CLEANLINESS: All areas appears clean. BATHROOMS: Located in the back left corner by bakery. Clean and spacious enough. PRICES: Reminds me of Whole Foods = pricey. PARKING: Amble amount on their shared private lot. OVERALL THOUGHTS: Very cute & large gourmet market (key word is gourmet!). Lots of variety, plenty of food cases to choose from. VERY pricey! WOULD I RETURN? Yes, if in the area.

Dime Store looked very familiar to me -- and then, it occurred to me that it used to be the Grand…read moreTraverse Pie Company that I'd visited for a Yelp Elite Event several years ago. The restaurant is very open, and it is attached to Papa Joe's market. There's also a doughnut store in the same little area. I had the mushroom and goat cheese omelette, and I really liked that you could get a salad as a side; while I love potatoes, salad just seemed to fit with this kind of omelette. I got rye toast (which was really marble rye), and it came with homemade strawberry jam. Or maybe it was dressing. I liked it on the salad! The omelette was very good as well. I loved the fried onion rings that were on top. My sister had the chicken caprese sandwich, and she enjoyed it as well. I am glad we decided to try this place. It was very good!

Quite something to watch the organized chaos of the kitchen. Ordered hot black coffee, jasmine green tea, the duck bop hash, upgrade to biscuit, Rueben omelet, English muffin and side of truffle mayo, 2 side chicken sausage, side house salad and side of chive cream cheese. $65.19 The duck was rather gamey, there was something in this dish that made it overly sweet about this dish that didn't sit well for me. Expected savory and maybe slightly spicy, it wasn't. I only ate a couple of bites and couldn't get over the gamey and sweetness of this dish. My hubby ended up eating the rest of it. Side salad was fine, lettuce and cucumbers were fresh. I did find a random stowaway chocolate chip at the bottom of my bowl that didn't belong. The chicken sausage is good, not dry and perfectly cooked. Their homemade biscuits are quite good, big, had a nice crunchy crust from the griddle. Even better with their house strawberry jam. They don't have any flavored creamers at all. The Reuben omelet was good, some kraut in it, not a lot of corn beef, but enough. The chive cream cheese is good. Service was good.
