EVERY time I called as a professional courtesy, the most recent, one of the untrained young girls literally said to me, "hold and I'll see if we can cancel you!" I replied "excuse me? What does that even MEAN? I'm in the ER! Should I contact my attorney?" I was punctual as always to my last appointment. As I went to make my next appointment, happily saying "I thought I was over the critical time where I could die".. INSTEAD of CONCERN, empathy or acknowledgment, either the first untrained employee or another untrained employee NOT ONLY demanded $50 upfront "in case I cancelled my next appointment"!, but NONE of the staff employees offered ZERO concern or acknowledgment!!! I was flabbergasted! As a Duke University Chemistry professor and neurologist on sabbatical, I asked "are you familiar with the American with Disabilities laws? Are you familiar with the empirical fact that I've NEVER been a 'no show"?.. that even in the ER I was professional enough to call?" I stated "I won't be back." In addition, my pattern as an established client is once a month with a $140 budget. On EVERY OCCASION Stacie would make me EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE and would purposely attempt to elicit more money by stating- with a very over concerned coercion, "You know.. because you get such low amounts that this won't hold unless you purchase X amount of units!" As I have been receiving Botox for a staggering 35 YEARS, I was aware of this fact and had to repeat again, and again and again, "I'm so sorry to disappoint you-as I'm disabled until I heal, this is the most I can do every month!" This is the ONE thing I do for myself. It should be a day/event of peace and joy. Instead, I left each session sad, embarrassed and purposefully insulted and demeaned. In addition, Stacie informed me "she couldn't inject me anymore as she was now only going to work on 'top-tier' customers!!" I wouldn't send my enemy to this place! If reading legal forms carefully causes you to lose your appointment slot, that says a lot about the process. I had scheduled a 4:00 PM consultation, arrived on time, and was handed an iPad with multiple pages of consent forms. I asked if I could complete the personal information first and review the rest after the consultation, but was told everything had to be signed beforehand. I also mentioned these forms could have been emailed in advance to save time. This was my first time seeking laser hair removal, so I wanted to fully understand what I was agreeing to. At a medical doctor's office, some paperwork is expected, but for a cosmetic consultation, I did not expect to be rushed through lengthy consent forms before even meeting the provider. After finishing, I was told most people "just sign without reading." That was disappointing to hear. Important consent forms should be read and understood, not rushed through. I had taken time off work and drove about 30 minutes based on the positive customer service reviews. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Sharing this so future customers know what to expect.

I go to Blue Water Spa, the medical spa he owns. I wanted to stay ahead of aging issues, so I got a consultation for a facelift. This man took so much time with me, answered all of my questions and he actually told me that I really didn't need a facelift! Based on my concerns, and his evaluation, I ended up getting liposuction of the chin and an upper blephoplasty which is just a little skin from the upper eyelid removed. The change is weirdly both subtle and dramatic. My eyes are opened up more, and my jawline is perfection. My recovery was not painful at all and I could not believe how fast I was back to my normal routine. There are no visible scars as he made incisions in the regular creases. My eyes were puffy and red for about four or five days. I never even had bruises. I just wore large sunglasses for a week. People asked me about makeup or skin care. This was to be able to pull the skin in both directions to avoid having to move my belly button and then have a fourth vertical incision. The surgery was not a success. I was left with an apron of skin along my bikini line. By breast were pulled down by the incisions underneath them that I then had stretch marks on my chest between my breasts. It also pulled my beasts down so that my nipples point down instead of forward. When I went back for my check up he tried to pass off the apron of skin as something that would resolve by itself but I refused to accept that. He made me feel like I was being ridiculous and picky for not being satisfied. He agreed to revise the tummy tuck by making a much wider incision and pulling down the loose skin hit by doing that he ended up having to move my belly button. He said he could fix my breasts but I would have to pay for a breast lift. At the end I am left with drooping breasts, incisions underneath them, a vertical incision on my stomach ( no bikinis for me), and having to pay another $1,400 to cover his cost for anesthesia for the second surgery. He couldn't care less. He just wanted me gone and for me to stop complaining. Next month I am having my breast lifted and a new tummy tuck to fix all this mess. Buyer beware.
