Despite that, I was repeatedly charged a $25 late fee based on the wrong due date. My rental begins on the 19th, yet I was billed as if payment was due on the 1st.It didn't stop there. My rental agreement disappeared from my online profile, along with the correct payment history. A few months ago, I discovered my belongings had been scheduled for auction -- without receiving any of the legally required notices. The auction was only reversed after I complained. Most recently, my monthly rate was increased by 10% with no written notice, even though the facility clearly has my email and has used it before.Missing contract records, incorrect payment history, improper late fees, a rent increase with no notice, and an auction scheduled without legally required communication -- this is a pattern, not an accident. Acorn Storage Port Orange has serious issues with transparency, record‑keeping, and compliance. Customers deserve better.

They have a superior model of how to treat seniors and have a clean well run facility. They either answer the phone or call immediately or back within minutes
