Although it's a tiny shop, it has so much stock, especially leather boots and suit jackets. What I found annoying however was the lack of visible pricing, which means you have to wait around until the sales person is free to answer your "how much is this?" question for the hundredth time. Vintage planet can be found downstairs behind the food stalls in the corridor along the right hand side of the market. Avoid it at weekends because it gets horribly busy, I went on a Thursday morning and practically had the place to myself.

The Stables- this new revamped building in the heart of Camden has been filled with shop owners, but, more of the copy-infringed T-shirts and some Asian imports. Kinda lame, for the past few years since its opening. But, after finding vintage planet-my perception is changing. Their clothes are just like fresh from the closets of those decades! And, the wholesome French approach of the owner, Ms. Kamir, enhanced my visit to Camden market as such a positive one, and I am still smiling remembering the warm welcome from the whole family. The vintage clothes in Camden Market has been overpriced, and yet, scarce to find anything good under the budget. but this Vintage Planet will brings you back to the 80s and 90s the old-time Camden Market. Her clothes are definitely wearable and they are mold/ odor free. And, most of all, it was fun chatting with the vendor, other than looking through her clothes, talking about the punk rock eras and changing scenes, then haggling down the prices without raising eye brows. They even have bloomers and although some people might draw the line at second hand pants, I say if you're going to do it, do it right. You could actually get an entire outfit here from bloomers to coat and hat for under £100 although you might be put off trying it on in their skanky cupboard of a fitting room. They have an OK range of shoes and accessories but nothing compared to their Covent Garden or Brick lane stores. I never seem to find anything I like in this Rokit but as with any thrift shop you never really know what you're going to find. I think maybe because it's a small, packed-in shop I can never be bothered to root around or fight my way along the clothes rail whereas in the Covent Garden and Brick Lane stores there's room to manoeuvre.

It's one of those second hand places that you have to root around in whereas i myself like it all to be organised for me so i can get stuck in straight away rather than breaking into a sweat rummaging through piles of crap searching for the beautiful dress that shouts out to me. I'm not saying there's a lot of crap in here as there are some gorgeous items but not everything is to my taste. They have a good selection of handbags, shoes and accessories too. They often have Chanel pieces in here as well as other big designer names and you can get them at great prices. Sometimes i find loads of things i like and some days i come away very disappointed having seen nothing but that's the nature of shopping and i love it.

It is open between 10 and 5pm…read more The shop carries a variety of goods: clothes take up the largest part, but there is also a good amount of tableware, books, and then a mixture of a little bit of everything - for example, every once in a while I see various electronic kitchen aids, or bigger cookware, etc. This is not one of those charity shops to go looking for a tucked away designer or vintage exclusive find. The clothes come mostly from regular high street brands. But accordingly, the prices are super cheap and most of the clothes displayed are still in good shape, so it can be a good place for updating your wardrobe without hurting your wallet. But what this place definitely rules at is the selection of tableware - mugs, wine glasses, cups, plates - if you are a broke student after a move or have broken some of your tableware at home, this is the place to find it for cheap. The staff is very nice and helpful, and cards are accepted. Also, if you have unwanted items (not just clothes - literally just about anything: I have seen a wet-suit, luggage, or a buggy being sold in this shop), donations are accepted all year round.
