I understand that accidents can happen, but what was most upsetting was how poorly the situation was handled. After taking her to the vet , I reached out to the facility expecting concern, accountability, and a sincere apology. Instead, I was met with a dismissive response from the owners. I had asked them to cover the cost of the vet visit, which I believe should have been offered immediately given the circumstances. Even more disappointing, I never received an apology until I pointed out that no one had offered one and that I was extremely disappointed with how things were being handled. Only then did they offer a brief apology -- but by that point, it felt insincere and forced. There was no follow-up to check on Chanel's condition, no ownership of the incident, and no effort to make the situation right beyond the bare minimum. After 3 vet visits, Chanel is thankfully healing, but this experience left me feeling upset and disregarded as a client. I'm sharing this so other pet parents can make informed decisions. Our pets deserve to be treated with genuine care, and we as clients deserve to be treated with respect and compassion -- especially when something goes wrong.
